Well said. Thanks for the thoughtful insight.
I am well aware of all of those potential hazards. I would rather have a place to put my heatgun. I have a feeling it would hold an inverted bernzomatic torch, too.
As opposed to a heat gun that runs out of charge within a few minutes?
Is there a cordless heat gun that does not suck absolute ass?
If so, please direct me to the proper merchant.
So, people are selling something that would leave them litigiously liable? Okay...
This is not complicated physics. Heat insulation is something that has been well mitigated for quite some time. Are you suggesting that a heat gun with its airflow directed outward would somehow burn through wood...
I very often wrap massive box trucks and am up on a ladder with no where to put my heat gun down. I can't set it on the ground or on a box. I have a feeling you do exclusively passenger vehicle color changes and are on a small stool or standing on the ground. We mostly do massive commercial...
They are signs for college campus restaurants. It is "Gudi" AKA "Briteline mounting film". It is a double sided removable adhesive. Typically we will use it on posters that are adhered to the inside of a glass door or window. The adhesive has pretty good tack but comes off with little force and...
I have a job for six 20"x30" double sided window graphics they want printed on 18oz pvc banner. I have never laminated banner material before.
What is the best way to go about applying window cling to banner?
TIA
According to HP their latex printers are speced to print on media slightly less than 20 mil. Muscle Mag by magnum magnetics is the recommended magnetic roll media for direct print on HP latex printers.
Your reply makes me question if you have any experience at all with wrapping vehicles.
A holster would be very useful for anyone doing wraps.
I will go ahead and disregard your reply unless you can explain why this is not something EXTREMELY USEFUL to people doing vehicle wraps.
I am thinking aluminum for the slot the heat gun goes into with a port directing air/heat away and behind me. The part that touches my leg/body would be made of wood and leather for insulation.
I am confident such a holster would not heat my leg up. The details of construction are what elude me.
Ahoy!
I am looking to make or buy a heat gun holster that would hang from my hip/belt. When I search for it I get (pistol)gun holsters. Adding vinyl to the search did not help. Does this product exist? If so, where can I buy it? If not, do any of you have any ideas on the best way to...
I use InterTape brand packing tape. Squeegee it down really well both directions(up/down and left/right). Pull it up really fast.
Spots that are stubborn I use iso alc and cover it with plastic for 10-20 minutes and then scrape it off with dulled scraps of polystyrene. I was told anything...
I must warn potential buyers not to buy the 570. I wish I had gotten another 360. The 570 is incapable of printing on HP photo realistic paper, alumigraphics, and quite a few other substrates the 360 does with ease. For some reason the 20pass beperf icc profile will not load, so I can't print...
