I've only used the 3M and was very impressed with it. If the air and vehicle temperature are a little cool, you have to keep the vinyl warm, otherwise it will tear along the line of the pattern when you're repositioning it. I found it reasonable to work with even on contoured areas and it's a no...
If you use the right material, there's no need to remove the screws. The primary reason that I don't remove them is that they detract from the final product. The image just looks like hell with silver dots all over it.
I already have the foam insulation set up to be installed. It is going to be pricey but I know it will pay for itself in the long run. The tube heaters would be for the garage area, I am considering wall mount ventless propane for the office areas.
I got a new shop that I'm getting ready to renovate. I need to heat about 1600 sq ft of garage with 15' ceilings and about another 800-1000 sq ft of offices with 8' ceilings (divided in 3 areas). There's no natural gas available. I'm looking into overhead radiant tube heaters that run on propane...
Just under 1/2 acre in a very visible location on a highly traveled road across from a gas/diesel station in a township with no zoning and very little regulation. It's bare bones inside. The main area is about 40'x60'. There are several smaller rooms in the back. The door to the right in the...
I got it! I paid 25% more than I was hoping to but we really needed it. I can't get in for a month and the it will be on to interior renovations. I'm already lining that up because the payment on top of my rent is going to suck.
It's not much to look at (yet). I'll post pix later.
Well, my youngest is 18 months and she's a handful (my Dad calls her the devil baby). There's no way she's going. The snow seems to have stopped so a delay at most for school. As far as competition, there's one main guy who is actually a customer of mine and I'm a customer of his. He's a bit of...
Tomorrow morning is the Sheriff's sale for a building that I've been chasing down for about a year now. I've got the $ all lined up and I'm ready to go but there's going to be some pretty stout competition and my stomach is churning. To add to it, my mother in law springs it on us at the last...
I'm bidding on one at a Sheriff's sale in the morning. It needs some lovin' but I'm sick and tired of renting a drafty metal building on a hill with a shale lane. Wish me luck.
Ugh... As the father of 3 young daughters I am NOT looking forward to dealing with this. However, I am well stocked on ammunition and I have friends with excavation equipment.
For a baller like you, maybe that's the case. It's an SES so it has the sync, leather, moon roof, etc. Not my thing but it's ok for a Focus and she loves it. Do they make 'em for your John Deere?
I have a roll of the 3M clear bra material that I bought to do some Peterbilt fenders for a friend of mine. My mother-in-law just bought a 2010 Ford Focus SES and I told her I'd put some on for her. Yesterday I put some on my buddy's SRT-8 Jeep and it was kinda a PITA.
Does anybody have the...
3551 Has its place. The truck & trailer pictured is all done in 3551 & 290G. Given the amount of material used, the savings was significant and it performed well. On an Express, I'd definitely use 3951.
You said you have Oracal laminate... I hope it's 290. You should NOT use calendared vinyl on this, even the 3551 (which is better than most). You simply CAN'T use calendared laminate. There is absolutely no reason to relief cut anything on these vans. We've done several of them with 3951 & 290...
