Thats what I generally use. This time though for the 3rd time, I have 500 business card sized magnets im cutting. Its not exactly quick and easy though. Even cant help but to always be off by a hair so you dont get quite the smooth stack of cards that are all perfectly the same size
A client came in today wanting to recreate a banner that is using D rings on the corners. They are hanging off and sewn in. We dont do sewing here, we use double sided hem tape. Is there any alternative way of using these without sewing them in? He seems to really be picky about the banner...
I think I understand about the rollers but I dont think thats it. Pretty much Im always using 54" inch. It sounds like a problem we get with the digital printers though. We run a lot of 11x17 but when we go bigger to 12x18 or 13x19, there will be marks down the sides that measure 11" wide...
We are a large warehouse and is a bit dusty but Im always keeping clean. As its pulling the prints through the laminator, Im usually on the back dusting away as it goes to make extra sure its dust free. Ive also noticed that those spots seem to show on the laminate before its even applied. I...
Ive looked all over it and dont see a way to adjust the pressure. I can control the tension of the laminate, backing, and the craft paper though. I do have a speed control, will try going slower next time. Looking online (now that I know its called silvering), its also suggested to let prints...
This pops up now and then but never been able to pin point the reason. Sometimes when I laminate, there will be areas on the sheet that have a lot of tiny spots that makes me think of soda bubbles but its not really bubbles, not sure of a better way to describe it. Ive never been able to...
lol, I was considering doing something like that if it came down to it. Just wanted to see if there was an "official" way or tool for doing it. I really couldnt imagine the vinyl was coming pre-scored. The tab idea worked pretty well though, will probably be using that for now on. Just never...
Ill say to you what I say to others with remarks like your....This is Signs 101, not Signs 102
And I knew I could do the jobs, I just wanted to find the best way to go about it.
As for quotes, Im the designer and printer, I dont deal with pricing
I am die cutting these to the edge, not something I have ever messed with before but we are giving it a shot. I had no problem peeling the back off but a couple others in the shop were. Does the hand tool have a name?
Im about to run a ton of oval decals. Some decals are slit down the backs of them to make peeling them off the backing a little easier. Is there a special tool for this or generally just done by a knife by not pressing down too hard? Just feel you risk damaging some decals this way.
Dont recall if that was it or not but will give it a shot. Thanks!
Does it have to be Cyan? That I definitely dont remember. Ive always just used whatever spot color I wanted but always at 100%
