I dunno if everyone is bragging or I'm too cheap and need to raise my price. 36x96 I'm getting a bit more than half that. They are so fast and easy to make though.
When you say full bleed, I'm imagining youre printing on 38" material at a hair over 36 so when you hem, it's like being a full...
There are a lot of lines on a vehicle to explain away your crookedness. I like to say, let it eat. I also start on the passenger side to get a little practice in before doing the side that everyone looks at.
Honestly, why isn't this the owner's sons problem? On second thought, stick it on there. You told them what to do, it's on them when it falls off. The way it is built makes it difficult to paint or do anything with if you want it to look nice and dont use a pile of filler, at least IMO
it's not a press. just saying
Are you familiar with the term depreciation? Figure that part out and cap expected costs. It is going to be different for everyone. Stop calling it a press too, not sure if I already said that
spray pre-cat lacquer 1 coat, dry, sand it to knock off the raised grain, then spray 2 more wet coats. It dries fast, you should be able to get it at sherwin williams
An inline 6 is the most well balanced engine, simple physics. I have never been a fan of V8 diesels. If you want decent power and reliability, a 6.0 vortec is tops. The Ford V10, Chevy 350/305 and even the 5.3 will go just as long as a diesel with half the maintenance cost and must cheaper...
the 6.0 was designed for 195-210 HP as the base engine in International trucks. It replaced the T444E which had replaced the 7.3 idi which replaced the 6.9, both of which were gutless turds. Actually, all of them were gutless turds. The 7.3 powerstroke was overrated, pickup people loved them...
you don't do the whole cab in 1 big panel. You break it at the fender and the doors with overlap after you get your design done. The hood is a box. Not trying to be an ass but this is pretty basic stuff and you don't need anything more than 54" material to do this.
we have one doing the same thing here. If it goes to their place, some idiot is going to jump in it and start using it.
On another note, I have been noticing fit and finish issues on these new trucks, mainly doors out of alignment. I opened the door on a new F250 saturday and there was a big...
all you do is take a picture and scale it. You can make it transparent and work under it or box out areas with door handles or other obstructions. I don't get why you can't print this? The new superduty doors are 48" wide, old are around 52 IIRC
