  4. Roland PC-60 Vista Software

I dont know it this helps, but I couldnt get mine to work in Vista. I had issues with it trying to find the machine when it was on the usb connection and the machine I built didnt have a serial port. Plus all the issues when trying to use the Compatability Wizard so I could use Roland's RIP. I...
  5. Vista or the PC?

After installing Vista, I had to roll mine back to XP Pro. It just doesnt have the "balls" that XP seems to. Plus I was very familiar with NT which was the basis of XP anyway. Ill stick with XP til Vista is "fixed"
  6. lets talk heat press(s)

DO NOT buy an no name press. This one of the few areas I say "dont try something unknown name wise" The reason being is these things generate an ass load of heat (yes assload is a tech term) Heating elements can start fires, blow breaker and burn your machine and materials up. I own a 16x20...
  7. Roland PC-12

If you have PhotoShop or Corels Draw, Id stick with one of those and pick up something like CoCut. Its the direction I ended up going and my only regret was not going that route sooner. I know CoCut is a bit more expensive than most would like to pay for something theyre not even sure will be...
  8. Beginner question....I don't know anything

Hi Biz. Welcome. Youll have to excuse the children running and playing, they do that here sometimes. As stated before, theres some really great tutorals on Utube and the like. And you will find that most the CC Adult classes in any of the Adobe stuff is pretty straight forward. Id buy some...

  10. Looking for something odd

  11. Looking for something odd

These are the chrome vinyl color ID stickers that go on the top of the carts. Theyre used to ID the color by the machine. Im not sure if they have something other than just the little block code to ID which color is which.
  12. Looking for something odd

Yeah. Just wish I could make these. I tried and it didnt work worth a crap.
  13. Looking for something odd

Im running a PC60 and those pesky little ID stickers on the carts are fewer and farther between. Is there any where to get these little buggers? I have plenty of carts, just not enough of those. Thanks
  14. Really Off Topic- about CD changers

Yeah just RIP them using whatever software you like, I use Media Player. And out of your soundcard you have a speaker plug that is just an output. Go to Radioshack and get an 1/8th" to RCA cable and bam, youre listening to your music via stereo.
  15. Do you profle your own media?

Im just getting into this. Ive found that my old tech printer (PC60) isnt supported by ...anything. Id have thought that with many manufactures advertising certain lines of product was thermal printable there would be something. Ive just Googled Profile editing and off to wasting material...
  16. Looking for a new LCD monitor - suggestions?

I have an ACER LCD display and I gotta tell ya. Price and picture, cant be beat. I do a olot of gaming and the color is crisp and clean. the refresh is seamless. I can sit for hours staring into god knows what and never walk away with eye strain. I like my 2216
  17. Parking Stickers

Im not sure if Corel or Adobe offers numbering but my Cut software and my Cut/print has an option to do that. In my software, its in the multiples repeat section. I run WinPCSign Pro (cheapo but it works for me) and my cut software is just a CAD program.
