I am going to revisit this. I dont under stand how 1 gram of force can cut through engineer grade reflective vinly. so what does the 1 mean if some of you are having sucess with this?
Actually, what I am trying to do is cut two circles. The outer circle will be a full contour cut and the inner circle will be perf cut with tabs but with the same force as the contour cut, not to cut through the liner. The intension is when the whole sticker is pulled off the liner it will grab...
I am looking for an icc profile for Oralite 5600 Engineer grade vinyl. i have and Roland XR640 and i alway print 1440 x 720. i dont undetstand why anyone would print at any less resolution. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find this icc profile. or any icc profile for my printer...
I have a Roland XR-640 pro 4 and I am struggling with this as well. In Versaworks 6 you are only allowed a maximum half cut force of 80. I am using Oracal 3164 high tack with an overlam which requires much more force than that. I know if Versaworks 5 you could set the half cut for up to 300gf. I...
What about the perf cut. What versa works it does is it goes from 250gf when perf cutting to 80gf when half cutting. Are you suggesting if I change the half force to 110 on my machine it will use that as the force for the half cut and ignore versa works but it would use versa works settings for...
I am using versaworks 6 with and XR-640 pro 4 and I am attempting to do perf cutting for the first time on laminated vinyl. My problem is the half force only goes up to 80. I typically use about 110 to go through the vinyl and laminate nevermind the backing paper. Can anyone help with this...
i use optically clear edge tape around the perimeter and still not luck. i have tried using the 94 primer before and i found you can see it on the inside of the window. I think i may have figured this out. i beleive there is a coating on the window... maybe something like RainX that is...
Hello all, I have put some widow perf on the rear window of a 2019 GMC Acadia and it has come off twice in the last year. I make sure the window is very clean using a general cleaner then finishing up with isopropyl. I even thought it was the vinyl itself so i bought some new Orajet 3675...
I have signlab 10 and i like to send out proofs by publishing to PDF so the customer can zoom in and see detail. my problem is when i am publishing to PDF it is the wrong color. i will attach a screen shot of what it is supposed to look like (named before) and a PDF after publishing (named...
A customer sent me 2 files the other day and they both had colors with the same RGB values yet they printed different. The color was close to black. One printed nice and one printed super thick.
I don't know how to do that. I googled it a nothing come up. do you know of a site that can guide me through this process. I forgot to mention that I am using Versaworks Dual could this be a problem? thx
I have just bought a soljet pro 4 and I am having trouble with my black. It's going on much too thick. I am using GCVP, high quality, Pre-Press U.S. Bi directional, and have all other controls "Use Printer Setting" it use to print good with my old VS540.
thx
I am having troubles with my colors not printing correct. People talk about printing a color chart off and matching the color you need to it. so I have don't that now how do I apply this to my print?
Is there anybody out there that has a VS540 and is running with 6 color eco-sol max with LC & LM that would be kind enough to share there VPM settings with me. and of course not having any color issues.
I have a Roland VS540 and print with Signlab VPM 10. I have been printing with VPM for a number of years now and it has never printed colors quite right. Specifically my blues always print quite dark. I can send the same file to Versaworks and it prints perfect color. Anyway I have been able...
