  1. The next generation of adobe users now work among us

I had some RAL colors to wrangle a while back, and I saved this in my browser bookmarks, so it must have been helpful? I guess? https://hextoral.com/ral-to-pantone-conversion/

  4. How do you store / organize your overs?

And as everyone knows, you'll NEVER NEED ALL THE STUFF YOU KEEP! You only need it after you get rid of it.:mad:
  5. How do you store / organize your overs?

And, you don't want to deal with the aftermath of a customer receiving a 5-10 year old decal that ultimately fails before its expected lifespan. That's another great reason for labeling them with production dates. You can easily see when it's time to get rid of them. And if a customer sits on...
  6. How do you store / organize your overs?

10 years or older? Dump it. 5 years or older? I'd dump that, too. And if you know for a fact that none of what you have on hand will ever be sold to a customer. Well... I know what I'd do with it. We have overs labeled with the production date, so that helps to figure out when we can trash...

  11. How to explain outsourcing?

I found a good card source and only offer to do them when it's in conjunction with another order (never just the cards themselves -- people in my area often ask for "oh just 50 or 100"). And I go with the "Quick Ship" option, which is one specific type of card stock, 4c on one or both sides...

Maybe the OP can just change all the negative signs in his books to periods. All problems, gone. .
  13. How to explain outsourcing?

Great question overall, gnubler, thanks for asking it! I've often wondered if there was a better way to explain how some of these jobs got done, without all my fumbling for the right words. Let me add my thanks to everyone as well with the great responses.
  14. AUTOMATION and WORKFLOW

Love your avatar, myront. It truly give me piece of mind.
  15. Steamboat Willie Entering The Public Domain

The best part about all of this Disney-Public Domain hubbub is that Disney has made its zillions by recreating famous stories that are, you guessed it: in the public domain. A short list: Cinderella Snow White and the Seven Dwarves Beauty and the Beast The Little Mermaid Sleeping Beauty The...

I can frost a cake with a paper knife. Who else is old and remembers that?
  17. DTF Decals

Samples are on the way, thanks for the info. Seems to be a large number of DTF vendors out there!
  18. Font of The year

That font style drives me nuts, as it makes me think of the sans serif fonts included in Microsoft Office products, or many of the Google web fonts. Which, I strongly believe, is what led to such a font to be voted on by Fiverrrr folks: all that exposure to "free fonts".
