  1. window perf, hp315 and head strikes

Humidity might be part of it! It gets humid in my shop also and I run a humidifier in summer. I have a humidity measuring thingy. I can really tell when I'm pressing apparel if it's steamy then there's a lot of humidity.
  2. iron on transfer paper rolls

Not a lot of apparel people in this forum. I use HTV and a lot of plastisol transfers. I've used inkjet transfer paper but never heard of it on a roll. Sorry
  3. Car Wrap Question(s)

For regular vehicles you print, laminate then install, I've never once seen/heard of applying a laminate after you wrap the car/truck. For race cars, I haven't laminated the wraps because they are typically too cheap to pay for laminate. However, we have some late model panels at home we bought...
  4. What do you say to a customer that complains about every little imperfection in a commercial van wrap?

I'm always very hard on myself until I see other peoples work. I rarely see a sign, vehicle or anything that is perfect. Most of what I've seen from other shops is between 3-7 stars. Very rare to see 9 or 10 star work, especially with commercial. It's pretty rare people with commercial vehicles...

  7. What wrap material to use!

I used to use the 3M until I couldn't get it once so I per peoples advice on this forum I used Arlon SLX - and I love it! Been using it since around Covid and so far I have not gotten any complaints or seen any peeling vinyl on the vehicles I've done.

  10. How long to wait for newly painted trailer?

Update! Well folks...I won't be lettering this trailer LOL You know that spray they put on truck bottoms so they don't rust out? It's black matte and sandy? - Well...that's what they used LOL Anyway, I'm going to put the lettering on aluminum instead and they will attach the panels. Good thing...
  11. Free Karen Read! (retrial begins 4/22)

Interesting theory and it makes sense! We believe since there are three doors and he had never been to that house that he went to the garage door and the dog jumped up on him and knocked him down and he hit his head on the concrete step. The dog started barking, they came in and saw what...
  12. Free Karen Read! (retrial begins 4/22)

One of the biggest things for me has always been the taillight ("debris field" - gag me). And the plow guy didn't see a body...my son plows - you KNOW where you are plowing and would have seen a body. And the google search...and the phone being destroyed...so much more...INNOCENT. Did you...

  15. How Retailers Are Using Digital Signage to Boost In-Store Engagement

Not sure exactly what you mean but all the taverns in town recently added vertical TV's with menu's, branded clothing for sale, and they pay for this by asking other businesses like myself to buy an ad spot and then my ad would appear on it - 5-10 seconds per screen shot. I think they wanted...
  16. How long to wait for newly painted trailer?

I sure as heck hope not or I'm walking away.
  17. Discussion Who "owns" the artwork? ... a conundrum when AI is involved

Almost every new logo I get now is AI generated and then I vector it and make changes. So far, it's not been anything near this wallpaper thing and I've been basically charging my art rate time plus vector charge and giving it to the customer.
  18. Rattle can paint on tapcons?

Many times I've sprayed trailer screws to match vinyl colors with no issues. I use Rustoleum high performance enamel punched into a piece or coroplast sticking up, two coats. It dries fast. When I'm done I write the vinyl color it matches on the cover for later use. I've painted lots and lots of...
