sorry for the mystery....i was heading out of town on wed on a short business trip to setup another
sign franchise production hub.
enroute i witness the most horrific motorcycle accident i've ever seen. without getting into unnecessary gruesome details...a ding dong riding irresponsibly went to pass a semi WAY too closely and was ran over and then ran over by the trailer (or what was left of him)
the trailer continued on without stopping...i was the only witness. to make things more "wonderful" there is a short cut where many ppl cut through an indian reservation on this route. because of this as I have learned your "constitutional rights" don't exactly apply. so from wed until last night I got to spend a fun filled half of a week on an indian reservation, in all fairness they were very polite even though they escorted me EVERYWHERE. but it was VERY clear I was not free to go until their investigation was completed even though i was not accused or suspected of any crime or wrong doing.
I have 2 lawyers on full time retainer for my personal endeavours and they said we can advise you but you need a tribal lawyer and quickly. it is a whole other world...or as was explained to me a sovereign nation. good times (sarcasm again)
that's the short story. sorry for the mystery, i was just glad to be home and kiss my baby daughter . life can end at any moment as we all know , just last week we lost a great member of this forum to a motorcycle accident.
i've grown up around motorcycles and extremely serious lifestyle 1% riders. I've chose to never wear a patch because those patches can get "awfully heavy" but my peaceful tim to clear my mind is with the wind in my face or it used to be...i will never put my leg over a motorcycle again. coming from someone who has ridden from portland oregon to daytona florida and back in 14 days total...i've got a few miles under my belt..it just isnt worth the risk anymore in my opinion.
Ride safe, Rubber side down...and remember everyone out there in a cage is out to kill you if they realize it or not.
tell everyone who means something to you, how much they mean to you today...none of us know when the time will come.
thanks for listening to my rambling.
and a HUGE thank you to Keith aka I 45 I know from our conversation you had no magic words but it helped more than I can tell you... thank you, I appreciate you taking the time.
