help with font ID

I ran this thru "what the Font" and then did a search on my own and it looks easy, but I'm just not finding it. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

that's what I thougth it was too Fred but the "r" is way off. the "a" is rounder than the Times "a". maybe I can re-work the "r" so that it looks right.

That is what often happens when something is printed small and the details fill up with ink and also due to multiple copies of poor art

Marlene... I think Fred is correct. Your version looks like 'Times New Roman Italic' while Fred's is just plain 'Times Bold Italic'.

I think what is throwing you off is the enlargement and exposure distortion and some open areas having filled in with ink. It is also a fact that one manufacturer's version of any given font will often have some differences when compared to the next manufacturer's version.
