we just finished carving half of this sign today. It will hang from a tree with 1 limb and be mounted to a steel sleeve we anchor in the ground.

We are doing our first sign foam sign next week, quick question for you. Is their anytime of filler you can use if while doing finish work someone dings the foam or anything? Just want to know ahead of time in case. :covereyes:

Thanks! this was a fun one. The finishes turned out better than I even imagined.


Zx - we use epoxy clay / putty to fill in any dings and then sand flat after it cures. I have used the stuff from Reynolds, Apoxie, and Magic Scuplt. They wall work about the same.

here is a picture of our gear assembly being featured in a poster. Coastal Enterprises will have this on display in their booth @ ISA. I'll be stopping by to hang out for a while.

here is our latest fabricated unit. Its 74" tall x 84" wide. Steel, Plexi, 30lb Precision Board, and some ACM for trim panels. I have a sculpted motorcycle and dodge charger that go in the centers of the small gears. Updated pics will be posted when we finish.

Aslo we ordered our Multicam 3000 series router on Friday. Anyone looking for a 5x10 with 8 tool changer and vision PM me....
