I was just posting what Portney said. I should have captioned it "Uh Oh, time for the left to cancel David" I don't even like that guy, but it is interesting to see him say that. Where he was incorrect in his post is that Jimmy is being canceled by Disney because of FCC rules that he broke when he lied about the shooter being MAGA when the shooter was a gay lover of a furry transvestite (what ever the heck that is).

I read the transcript last night from Jimmy Kimmel's show. It wasn't just the "maga" comment. It was the rearranging of trumps quotes to make it sound like he cared more about the ballroom he's building than charlie kirk. What really happened was that he was in the middle of a meeting about the ballroom when someone came in and told Trump that Charlie was shot. Jimmy made it sound like all Trump cared about was the ballroom and that Charlie's assassination was secondary. simply untrue.

This sh!t is getting carried away, now. It seems like all anyone is doing is trying to come up with a new buzz word and get it to stick and take credit for doing so. This is like a stoopid 8th grade play for all the students who don't really care about none of it.
I really get a kick outta the stage hands who don't know diddly about any of this first hand and just say whatever floats into their head...... like all the none-Americans who think they know how to solve any of this, when their own countries are in p!ss-poor shape.
The real blame here is easy. Computers and the internet. Before computers you had to ACTUALLY look things up, read about it, then think about it and then either talk or write about it. You'd actually learn things, but people since the internet came along, being lazy d!ckwads, just google it and not really read the entire work, but just copy & paste anything they want. Nothing is in their heads but what they're gonna say next....... or copy next. Contradictions run high and it's not a very pleasant view when you have nothing to pull from within yourself.

Im pretty sure it's fake and didn't happen. When googling it all that comes up is stuff from days ago saying some people lowered pride flags for Charlie Kirk.... Nothing about Kimmel. But Kimmel has a wife, so I highly doubt anyone would even lower one for him....

I'm not left... Nor am I right, not do I consider myself center really. I've lived in Canada for 4x as long as I've had my US citizenship... I've voted once, and that was in an American election, and funny enough, for trump. Canada doesn't have Democrats / Republicans - we somewhat have a left and a right, but it's still different than USA's. were not as... Us vs them as you guys, they still work together... But it's mainly in compromises, and I'd say they're further left and further right when it comes to policies and politics, which is why I don't follow or identify as either. I follow what I think is right, I don't care if it's the right or left that does It, I don't care if I call a Republican president the worst thing that could happen to America, and then the next day do the same to a democrat one. My alignment is "for the people", which is why I'm still a firm believer in praising someone when they do something right, and calling them out when they do something wrong.... No matter the side of the isle they're on.

These threads were started due to tarrifs, so no matter what the focus is going to be on trump. But I've praised Kirk.... I've called out people who are saying shit things about him, I've pointed out some of Trump's policies I agree with, and a lot I don't. I have zero problem saying what I agree with and don't, whether it makes left's hate me... Or Rights hate me. I'll never vote again in my life because there's no point, I'm sick of the left and I'm sick of the right, and I wouldn't be proud to label myself as either, so why support either one?


And for the record... I was against rosanne being fired, I actually used to watch the show... Then stopped after they fired her.

Did she say something that could be taken as racist? Sure, but again .. she's a comedian, comedians are supposed to push people to the edge of uncomfortable and turn it into a laugh.

As for Carlson or the others, I didn't even follow them so I'm not sure why they were fired. If it was for something they said, I'm sure unless it was something extremely crazy that hurt Fox's branding, if be against it.

You're are correct, Canada doesn't have a left or right. It has a political and moneyed elite that manage to do very well while the rest of Canadians take it on the chin and empty their wallets and bank accounts for the privilege. It is amazing how in just a generation and a half Canada has gone from a truly affordable and opportunity focused country to one where the middle class no longer exists. Can't wait until the latest 'hate laws' are passed.

P.S - It's not impossible to own a gun in Canada. So long as you don't have a criminal record, it's pretty easy to get one. You just have to take a 2 day safety course (Because handing guns out to anyone who asks for one with zero training is kind of crazy), and take a test to prove you can be safe with a gun. You also have to get your wives, or conjugal partners signature stating they know you're getting a gun and have no reason why you shouldn't.... Or they will contact them for you if you don't have their signature (This part is dumb). We're also under no circumstances allowed to carry a hand gun... it's only allowed to be used in shooting ranges... Handguns and rifles, and shotguns.... No Ak47s, or assault rifles. You also go through a pretty strict background check, and people with mental health issues, criminal history, they're not allowed guns.

It's "Close" to USA rules... but more strict, and more controlled. If you want a gun, you can get a gun - You're just not allowed to carry it or keep it anywhere but your house, or trunk while driving to a shooting range pretty much. But that doesn't stop criminals, so many illegal guns come into Canada from USA. almost all the homicides from guns are done by guns that came in from USA, not by people who go through the steps to get a gun - But that doesn't stop our leftists from trying to get them banned or even stricter gun control laws, We should Tariff America until you guys can get your guns under control.... it's a national Emergency!
