  1. Mimaki CJV150 Issue

Do you have any info on adjustment. I set up the capping adjust in the service menu when we did the dampers and cap top however it does look to be a little of centre. Is there a mechanical adjustment that can be made?
  2. Mimaki CJV150 Issue

Hi, We have had an ongoing issue with our mimaki cjv150 for over the last 8 month which has now started to get worse. What happens is that it prints fine with no issues. When we turn off the machine and leave it in sleep mode and come to use it again it produces a nozzle check like this. After...
  3. Roland LEC 540 Ink Configuration Change

Hi We have a Roland LEC540 running CMYK plus Gloss and White however we do not use the gloss so it gets wasted in the waste tank. Does anyone have any info or guides on swapping the printer to CMYK plus White White as we use white a lot. I have done this process before on a mimaki however there...
  4. Lec540 noise

Hi, We have a lec540 and when we turn the printer off after use it makes a clicking / buzzing noise. The noise seems to be coming from the power unit but I am unsure on if this is normal or not as we have only just purchased it. I can switch the switch or at the back and this stops the noise...
  5. Roland LEC540 Help

Hi, We have had the opportunity to purchase a used LEC 540 at a really good price. I have a few questions regarding the printer though which hopefully you guys will be able to give me the answers too. 1. How long do the UV Lamps last? Are they common to fail or are they solid and will last the...
  6. Mimaki CJV150 Cross Contamination Help

We replaced all 4 of them at the same time. I suppose it could still be a random faulty one from new though. I will check down the lines to see if there is any air. If there is air could this have been introduced since changing the dampers? Also if it was a seal would you see any signs of ink...
  7. Mimaki CJV150 Cross Contamination Help

To cut a long story short our cjv150 was dripping ink onto the media last week. We replaced the dampers and capot and the problem was resolved. This week we now have cross contamination in the yellow channel. This is present as soon as we turn the machine on after it has been left overnight and...
  8. Mimaki cjv150 dot position lines wonky

Hi, Has anyone ever come across wonky lines on the dot position adjust. Recently our machine has started to print certain patterns with wonky lines (see attached image). It looks like some sort of calibration issue but I cannot understand why it would just start doing this. Any help would be...
  9. Mimaki ink misting/overspray

Hi everyone, We have started to get an ink mist/overspray on our megenta/cyan channel on our cjv150. The machine is nearly 3 years old and is on the original head. It recently had a new pump and captop fitted as well as a wiper. It has not had any dampers yet at all. Upon inspection of the...
  10. CJV150 Print Head Replacement

Hi, below is the link to the head I purchased. https://www.digiprint-supplies.com/en/cjv300-5540-head-assy-without-memory-board-m015372 We used the memory board from the original head. If you need a memory board digiprint supply both options. The link above is for without the memory board. It...
  11. Mimaki cap adjustment help

I see so if the station height is correct the cap cannot be under too much pressure as it’s already hit it’s peak. Is there a separate adjustment for the latch. So basically the station is set to 5mm the cap position is 3mm to the centre of the sliding pin just as it hits the boom peak. When...
  12. Mimaki cap adjustment help

Hi. To cut a along story short we have refurbished a civ150 and adjusted the station height to 5mm as per the service Manual. The problem is though that when we adjust the cap position the slider should be 3mm per the service manual but ours has to be about 5-6mm before the head locking latch...
  13. Mimaki Deflected Cyan Nozzles CJV150

I am happy with the quality of the prints I was just concerned as it only seems to be cyan with deflections. I have since replaced the Pump and Captop which hasn't made a difference. I can live with it just strange why cyan only seems to be affected. I cannot see any noticeable damage to the head.
  14. Mimaki Deflected Cyan Nozzles CJV150

Thank You, I have left the machine to soak again today and will see how it looks in the morning. I did get it a whip with a lint free cloth the other day which helped a little bit. A part of me thinks its potentially dampers starting to fail. I know there isn't a full colour drop out but its...
  15. Mimaki Deflected Cyan Nozzles CJV150
