Hy i've got the GERBER 1 version,
Sure i'm also opened into getting the OMEGA, i've just heard that signlab would be more easier to use and more complete.
HY
We got an old gerber with an old windows XP including flexisign 8, i've been printing a few meters with the edge but i definitly find it hard to set and i've heard that Signlab pro with the thermal module allows to produce a lot more than the flexi software in a much easier way.
Does anyone...
Ok i'll try that. But there is something i can't understand in theses ICC setups, for example i've found a good color profile for the RED but the density is too low even printing 100% in M,Y and RED ink.
the ink limit is already set to the maximum of 400 in the ICC set ups. How then can i...
Oh that's pretty bad news for the green. ONYX support told me to try to save files in RGB and print. If you have an idea to match the Red closer please do tell me.
Here are pictures of what i want and what i get, i use the CMYKORdefault ICC and i can't get them with Swatch Books trying every settings . The Bright RED i want is always bloody or too orange. The GREEN i get is always poor in brightness.

We are using ONYX for a few month now and we can't get to the ink density menu in the ICC ONYX creating steps.
It tell to read the sample when we are in the calibrate menu, read with a Spectrophotometer only and by the way we do not have one.
I was wondering if there'a way to overtake this...
Seems a dead head.
Try anyway to clean the whole printer from upsidedown as it won't let any dust anywhere and also the registration marks sensor . also make sure that you clean the printhead properly i mean in it all surface.
Find another dc4-5 it be found for nothing today, cheaper than a head.
ok, i can't see how the cables could be defect as they are not cut or out of the plug, all wires seems at their place. if you have another idea please tell me.
You mean this one? i've checked the connections of the cables throught the plug and the connection to the board itself and it seems ok, what do you mean?
Hy i just grab an old Gerber GS+ plotter in working but pooring conditions especially the Drums, i've checked on the web and have found theplotterdoctor but live in the US and i've fought that maybe one of you have found a way to replace or to refresh them from a repair shop or else. Any advice...
Ok thanks, i suspect the board underneath the speed control dial as i've faced problems with the stop button this last week, i had to push it hard to make the laminator stop. I'll try to clean it tomorrow and see if it make any change.
@nestol you are probably talking about a board on the back...
