Hi, I'm upgrading my vinyl cutter for the new S2 tangential cutter from summa. I currently have a D160R and I'm wondering how much I could get for it. I'm guessing around 1.5k$, but what do you think?
Tanks.
I will put a cutting mat over it. So yes, I would seam two plywood. But If I buy a 4x8, I will have 3 seems then. I've never heard of puckboard. Do you have a link or a supplier that sell this?
I'm building my new work table. The size is 5X10. I was under the impression that I could find a plywood this size easily. Big mistake on my part. I wanted to use a 5/8 plywood. What do you suggest that is solid? The plan B would be 2 parts of material.
For myself. I ended up buying a kala mistral 1650 and put two 10ft tables on each side. It's more versatile than just a table and almost as easy to install vinyl on a board.
I have an opportunity to buy a used fotoba digitrim 64. The person have it for almost 10 years. What would be a fair price? I did not found what was the original price. Right now, they are asking 10k$ USD.
It's all open floor. I've tried the bowls idea and it work just a little and it's not constant. I've borrow a small humidifier that is rated for room around 500sqft (1 gallon I think) and after 24 hours, the humidity went up just 3-4%. I need something alot more powerful than that.
I'm looking for a stand alone humidifier for our production/office area. It's an open floor around 850 sqft with 8 ft ceiling. Right now, with our -30 celcius outdoor, our humidity is always around 25% (30% on a good day). I've contacted my local HVAC guy and he quoted me 3800$ including the...
I've spoken with caldera and the M1 chip is supported since version 14 (it's written in the v14 changelog). So I've chosen the 500gb version with 16gb of ram. We will see how it perform.
So we are upgrading our equipment and will have the last version of Caldera. I will run it from a mac mini, but I'm not totally sure that I'm understanding the minimum/suggested requirement on the Caldera website. From my under standing, I could run this with the basic M1 model but upgrade the...
So we just moved to our new place. I need recommendation for lights. In the shop, we currently have 8 ft fluorescent tube and we got a 10ft ceiling. In the production/office area, we only have a couple traditional edison bulbs with a 8ft ceiling. Ideally, I would like to have the best lighting...
I've got a different answer from my rep and the tech. You need to align the substrate perfectly on the bed but they said it's doable. I will double check this tho.
I'm getting rid of my HP L260. To be able to get it out, I need to remove the printer from the stand. I'm not planning to reuse the printer. It's going to a recycling plant. I would like to know what procedure should I do to avoid having ink everywhere, separate the printer from the stand and be...
Thanks for the feedback. The SXC1717 is a 5.5ftX5.5ft table. So there is no problem for rolls up to 64in. It is also the conveyor option, so for roll media, it's not a problem. I will definitely take the 3hp router. There is a considerable price jump between the 5.5x5.5 and 5.5x10.5 table. I'm...
After some research and online demonstration, my choice for my first flatbed cutter is a colex sharpcut sxc1717 with the conveyor. We will mainly use it to cut rolled material (murals and diecut stickers) but will also bring cnc work in-house (aluminum signs, pvc, acrylic, styrene, etc.). I was...
