OK never mind I figured it out. a good thing I have a duplicate hard drive in the comp. I unplugged the solid state and plugged in the alternate and then went to check the settings and I see what needed to be changed... good thing for the spare hard drive all good
I run a Mimaki jv3 and I am hooked up via firewire. 2 days ago I had a blue screen on my print computer. I rebooted and everything seemed fine. Today I go to print and I see that the file is going through really fast unlike the way it normally goes through slowly as the printer prints taking...
Ya so I have the beeping happening...in the past I found it to be one loose connector on a board but this time what I found was the power supply plug can't get a full grasp on the connector as on the inside of the printer the bottom portion of the piece it connects to has released from the...
Had a customer bring me this product to apply a digital print to. I was amazed that such a product existed and find out he bought it at Grimco. They even cut it to size for him.... I am quoting a job and need this stuff but now Grimco says they won't cut it down. Anyone ever use this stuff...
I just measure off the ground and then ran a level and they both came out very close. Can't really measure off the bottom of the vehicle as it curves under itself...no real accuracy. I taped it up and sttod back and made a judgement call. Customer liked it so win win
Just curious what you would do with one of thee vehicles as far as applying the graphics
There is no references at all for making anything straight to the body... Use a level? Measure from the floor up?
On a side not, I agree that your time is worth something and $15 is not going to break the customers bank...but a $15.00 invoice costs at least that in typing up the invoice generating a printout / emailing the invoice, then waiting for payment...( with the posibility of having to call for...
I have had one of these for over 20 years and it still works great. Can buy different size dies as well. I think it is probably the cheapest corner rounder you will find.
I do the same and also run appointments through outlook to get the warning bells. I think the best strategy is to learn just how much you can do in a day and remember you always get those days when you just don't get as much done as you plan for a varied amount of reasons. I basically work...
I have had this happen before but have no idea why it is happening. I double click on a bitmap and normally the cropping tool comes on screen, but now it is an eyedropper and if I click on the cropping tool it is still an eye dropper and won't crop. Any ideas?
The vinyl is definetely a 2ml product with a grey blockout adhesive. Must have been something the other shop who did it had hanging around as all other trucks re done this month only had a 2ml normal red.
Vander....you need to remove the vinyl before applying rapid remover, which I have...
getting the glue off is not a problem...the vinyl has a grey adhesive and is near impossible to remove without any heat or steam. Steam seems better than heat gun as with the heat gun the vinyl gets all gummy mixed with the adhesive and just moves somewhere else on the truck. I have one side...
I have stripped off 5 trucks for this company so far and this is the last vehicle... None of them used this particular red vinyl. It is a 2ml but I also think it is one of those types with the white back. You can see that with me using a steamer and a plastic blade it leaves 100% of a grey...
