That doesnt make much sense, they are probably meant to be hollow, with open backs. 2" thick letters would not only be incredibly expensive but also incredibly heavy.
In my experience with Graphtec machines, especially the 8000-8600 Series the pinch roller assemblies will eventually fail due to cracks. The part the cracks is these little tabs that fit into the aluminum rail. Once these crack they will not be able to hold the vinyl in place, the material...
So we were able to narrow down the issue to the yellow channel. We were able get a good print by replacing the MAG/YELLOW head that was the oldest. Of the two MAG/YEL heads, one had like 13 hours on it and the other had 1200 hours on it. It was well overdue. We are going to make it a habit...
We have the HP700W now for over a year. My heads have lasted fairly long, I think I have replaced them totally once so far except for the white heads which i have replaced twice.
Each color has its own head so if you have a failure in one head you can just replace that head. I think the Epson...
To me, it looks like your print got sucked up to the top of the curing module(theres fans up there that can create a vacuum i think) before the ink had any time to cure/dry. This caused it to smear on the curing module roof. You should be extending your print down past the curing module a few...
I have always feared this happening to ours. How did it happen to your table? On ours which are over 15 years old, the white plastic has started yellowing from the old original florescent tubes which we have long since upgraded to LEDs. There is no way to get that plastic out to replace...
Hello All,
I am having a frustrating issue with trying to get color bars to print on either side of my sandwich print image thru Flexi. I can select the option, I can see them in the preview but they don't print on any layer.
I am starting to guess that this is one of those things that is just...
Ill give this a shot, but I don't think it will work with our HP 700w Latex. The only way to get white to print VIA flexi thru using a specific spot white.
We are now running the current version 22.0.1 of Flexi and they still have not added an option other than CYMK and RGB for the crop mark...
So I tried it out and perhaps I am doing something wrong, but when I do values of 100,89,38,34 with 5% between, It generates the swatches but im getting a bunch of white swatches with values of 0,0,0,0. See attached image. Any idea whats happening?
We have the 700W and it works just fine for the C/W/C. I have printed that way on both IJ8150 and also IJ3630, just depends on the plastic substrate and illumination. If you have any particular questions, let me know. The white system with the 700 and 800 takes some getting used to, but...
Ive only been able to do that using flexisign rip and print, setting the EJ up as the printer and the XR as the cutter. I know that doesnt help if you dont already own or subscribe to flexi, but thats how i managed that issue in the past.
