@VecDoc, I have used similar programs before. I will have to give that particular one a try sometime though. However, this is not what I am wanting to do, since it appears Adobe has integrated something very similar into Illustrator already, I was wondering if it had an interface that I am missing.

When we went to sell our 360 we just shut it down, unplugged it and put a dust cover (tarp) over and around it to keep it clean. We fired it up a few months later when someone was interested and after plugging it back in and running a cleaning cycle it was just fine.

3M solid colors are in 180MC (instead of 180c) now, is it a color that is not available in that series? The 1080 is a bit thicker than 180, so it will be a bit more of a hassle over rivets, etc, but does a better job at being a "block out" material.

HPs aren't built to last as long as the older Solvent printers were. They are cheaper though, so just plan for the eventual replacement if you go that route, kinda like a lease. Check the physical HD space on the RIP machine, possibly it is not large enough or fast enough. We now have SSDs in our RIPs and everything is much faster.
