I wouldn't. I wouldn't even give a suggestion of a clear. Too many potential problems. The one thing they can do is use whatever wax/sealer is recommended for the type of floor they have.

We usually use cheap foam tape for interior installs, with a dab or two of silicone or Lexel if we're worried. Our tape supplier will spec the correct tape and I know we have a VHB that is made for plastics.

If you want flat custom cut letters there are many vendors. Formed letters not so much.
