I have a VP Roland and i1 and use Triangle inx- I have profiled but it is
a long procedure and I do not have the time to spend on it. I use Versa
works as a rip and also have Wasatch that I do not at this time. I am
looking to step up to an XC540 and may go back to Wasatch at that time-
so...
I just bought 5 wheels from Grimco which are a different color and we
went thru 3 on one cargo van where we normally get a van to each
wheel. This is the twelfth identical van we have done- same guy on
the same Vinyl Zapper. I called the mfgr and the old ones were made in
Taiwan and the new...
OK- good info here. The situation here is I have a 2.5 year old VP540
that we work to death and need more production. I have looked for a VP300
to suppliment it (thinking the color management would be easier) but there
are not many of them and I can't find a nice one. So now the one brain...
I am looking at at an XC540 which prints at 150sf per hour at 720x720 and I can't find what the Roland claimed for the VP540 at that (or any other)
rez. Wondering if anyone has that info. Thanks Gene
I actually used to run into Paul Newman in the pits now and then- he
would always smile and nod- striking blue eyes. When the herd of
7,8 or 9 liter CanAm cars hit the first turn after a one mile straight a way
the ground would shake- still gives me shivers.
Me three- I grew up less than an hour from Brainard International Raceway
(then Donneybrook) during the Can-Am and pony car and sport prototype
wars. I have thousands of slides of the unlimited Can-am and Trans-am
cars- in the rain we would station at the end of the one mile straight- quite...
There are a *lot* of BS vids- can anyone post a link to what Bob is talking
about- tried numerous search terms and watched as many likely vids as
I could stand. We use and like the BS BTW- just always looking for better
ways to do anything. Thanks Gene
OK- I couldn't find a current Summa catalog so I went to their website.
They now offer OPOS-X and OPOS-CAM (which they call 4th generation)-
One of mine is 15 years old and the newer one is probably 9- both with
what I imagine is the original OPOS which is not 'strong' enough see
thru the...
I have a T750 pro with the older style OPOS- are you people talking about
the newer OPOS? Pretty sure the S-class machines have this. I have to
mask my registration marks and slice off the laminate before the OPOS
will detect the mark. Thanks Gene
