We use Mactac B-Free frosted vinyl. You are not supposed with install with application fluid but we spray a small amount and works great. So much easier to install than Oracal.
Why would you install it for them if you did not make the signs? I would never do that.
Also I have never found 6mm ACM in 5' x 10' sheets. Only thing close is 10mm alumalite.
We use Ghost Off and love it. Spray on and let sit for a couple minutes and then agitate with a brush. Use a pressure washer to hose off and all the oxidation is gone. Just did a couple buses with heavy oxidation and it worked great.
Why don't you sub out to Signs2Trade? Unless you plan on doing a lot of these you will have to buy an expensive roll of material. No profit for this one job.
I buy from Lidco squeegees from 44tools at $1.09/ea https://44tools.com/4-lidco-orange-bondo/
Then use Monkey Strips from Fellers for felt. 50pk is $35. Total price around $2/squeegee
Looks like you still have fluid behind etch. We just installed a big window with B-Free and slightly misted windows with Rapid Tac and squeegeed down. Turned out fine.
I would pass. What happens if you mess up the graphics during install? Golf carts are tough to wrap with all of the curves especially if you have never done one before.
Run Forest Run. I would never attempt that job. Usually the RV people are retired and have nothing better to do but pick out any tiny defect. Matching the metallic print will be almost impossible.
I would educate them that this will not match the original. It would be worth it print a small...
Window tinting is really easy to do yourself. I also bought from Sunbelt Distribution and used Madico films.
Get a spray bottle and put a couple drops of Dawn soap and fill with water. Scrape window first with razor blade and solution to get fine particles up. Coat window with spray. Get...
For concrete and cinder block we use 3M IJ8624 along with 8524 lam. We also primer 94 the crevices of the cinder block. Heat and apply with roller. I wouldn't risk using cheaper calendared vinyls for this application.
For regular walls we use General Concepts version of Phototex and print on...
The same thing has happened to two of my friends. Turned out HP had incorrectly labeled the box wrong. This messed up his head and HP replaced it at no charge.
Call your vendor and give them the lot number of the ink and they should be able to tell.
