In case with bad damper pure colors on printout should prints bad too. I think for check it is not feed problem you can create vector file with hairline mesh with cells about 5x5 mm. Print and check the lines.

It looks like feed problem. Check PF-Motor belt tension, PF enccoder and scale position. Did you try to release some media from roll on back side? I mean try to print not from roll but from media wthout tension and without take-up system.

I think your problem with black strips is black ink drops what created on nozzle plate and jetting by other ink channels. Start to print and open front cover (for make a pause) after 10-15 cm and check for ink drops on nozzle plate. Show nozzle test. Misfiring nozzles can create ink drops.

You have to make a sure you hear high frequency noize when the printhead goes from maintenance station and stay a little under spitting box. If no noize - printhead is not working. And you have to check all few fuses around head drivers one more time.

It was bought from a dealer. It is in pricelist of 2016 year. As I told, it not available anymore. Laast years I bougnt generic bearings from SKF, NSK or EZO. Actually, Mutoh told they bearings was polished outside for prevent to damage roller strip.

For 1604/1614 it was possible to buy complete set of bearings. The article for order was KY-14620. I am not sure if it available for order now. For new models is possible to buy complete carriage or bottom arm with bearings.

On Mutoh ValueJet is impossible to downgrade the firmware. Any versions. Unlock is a good solution for fix any smart cards problem.

I can't imagine you have all nozzles on the printhead if you have that printout. Add please picture of nozzle check. From service mode will be better. Big drops - because your printhead has missalignment while print. It can be wrong step adjust or printhead align.

VJ1204 has 128 Mb SODIMM memory Also, you can try to print via USB port. For check network communication chip.

You can run the printer with default IP 192.168.1.253 address if you don't know actual IP. It is possible while start up. Than you can change to other IP as you want.

Do you use OEM ink? Where is filled up? Single-use cartridges? Check the distance from head to media. It looks your printer head too high.

Wrong. Hold <Left>,<Right>,<Down> together while power on.

It maybe short cirquit inside the head because of ink leakage. Check head fuses on mainboard. Especially F2 fuse.

It means the priner is swithed to longstore or cleaning mode. For fix it you have to go in diagnostic menu and change working mode parameter to correct one.

Try to excahnge Magenta ink lines on dampers inlet with some other ink channel. And make a Little Charge. You will see is it printhead (damper) problem or ink lines.
