  1. Graphtec FC8000 Push Roller Replacement

You can still get the part that breaks, just not the whole assembly so you have to remove the assembly and disassemble it and then reassemble with the new piece. It's called the pinch roller base. Basically you mark where the dogs are on the back with a sharpie so you can put them back in the...
  2. Anyone using Flexi with HP 700W?

Lc and Lm are considered part of the Cyan and Magenta channels and aren't considered spot colors.
  3. VG 640 test print woes

How long has it been since you replaced your cap tops? It might be time for some preventative (though technically it's a little late to be preventative) maintenance. Good Luck
  4. FC8600-130 inconsistent cutting depth

Just make sure that you get all of the old adhesive off before you put the new cutting strip on, or the new strip will have bumps under it that will give you the same problem. You can remove it with elbow grease or I found the last time that if I use Roland cleaning fluid the adhesive comes off...
  5. Suggestions How often do you all get your Gerber equipment serviced?

Like White Haus said - most of our customers will only get them serviced when they have problems with them. We have some customers with multiple Edges that will get them all serviced when one has a problem. However, we've seen some issues with getting parts, so, if this is your main source of...
  6. Anyone know what Grimco charges for service calls?

I think Seal does all their own servicing. Have you called them?
  7. Switching from Vertelith to Onyx

In my experience, while a RIP can be the cause of banding, it's not usually the first thing I would look at. More often it's machine related or environmental -usually low humidity causing static related issues. I think Onyx does a great job of color management though and you won't be...
  8. Basic mechanics of the HP Latex 800

If there is one color dripping, check those print heads - it may be time to replace them. If it's all colors then I'd look at the maintenance cartridge like balstestrat said. Good Luck
  9. Service call

If it's been sitting for 2 years, it's probably not worth it unless you can do the work yourself and don't easily get frustrated. We generally turn away that kind of work anymore. Good Luck
  10. Roland SP300v

Is there anything covering the rear media sensor - tape? vinyl? dust?
  11. Sp-300i Bad Quality

Your magenta will likely continue to have problems till you take care of the deflection - new head, head soak, whatever it takes. You can probably improve the graininess of the artwork and the banding by printing in a higher pass mode. Also, make sure that your bi-directional and feed...
  12. Need Help Roland VersaWorks printer not connected even though it is connected (VersaWorks Windows 11)

Go back to these settings and change your subnet mask back to 255.255.255.0. Basically the subnet mask will restrict where you device looks when trying to connect. Changing it to 255.255.0.0 just means that you're looking through a lot more addresses to find the printer. (Theoretically slowing...
  13. Need Help Roland TruVis VG3-540 Printing Darker Colors

First off, you'll never get the green that shows up on my screen to print off of a CMYK printer. So proper expectations need to be set. Second, you're opening up Pandora's box of color management here - we can't fully answer this question in this forum. Roland Versaworks has a lot of...
  14. Feed Motor error 0008

Does this happen with one media in particular? - which one? or different medias? Have you tried pulling slack off the roll? Does this happen when printing or cutting?
  15. Roland felt wiper replacements

That part number does not match the picture you posted. It is only for part #5 below. Do you have an LEF or an LEF2? I don't know that we've ever ordered this part for any of our customers - it would be a special order part and I doubt any dealer would stock it - but I see that at this moment...
  16. Roland felt wiper replacements

What felt are you looking for? - Sorry. I didn't notice this was an old post.
  17. Third Party Aftermarket Inks for Mimaki JFX / LUS-150

I was just curious as to your reasoning. Price of inks is often a factor, but I've seen other factors as well. Yes, we're a Mimaki dealer, but your outside our normal territory, so I really wasn't expecting to make a sale here. I find it interesting that you're looking to save the money, and...
  18. rubber rollers for Gerber Odyssey and a Summa cutter plotter

Gerber no longer supports the Odyssey, so if the Plotter doctor doesn't have them I wouldn't know where to send you. It wasn't an extremely popular plotter, so I doubt there's any third party wheels unless they used wheels that are compatible with other plotters. Summa wheels should be...
  19. Third Party Aftermarket Inks for Mimaki JFX / LUS-150

You can have a sign fast, you can get a sign cheap, you can get a good sign. You can't get a good, cheap sign fast. Sounds like you're up against an immutable law. What is it you don't like about the Mimaki OEM ink? - just curious.
  20. Gerber Edge

It sounds like a permission issue. Try running as admin and make sure that you have full read/write/delete permission in the Gerber App Data folders and Program folders. Also make sure that you don't have any anti-malware software blocking activity in the program. Good Luck
