I agree with Signmeup. I’ve been selling all of these makes for 20 years. On solvent printers I sometimes add a BBC infrared heater which fully cures the ink so customers can laminate immediately after printing.

It’s one head firing in one position. If you replaced the K-C heads then it’s an electronic problem. It is usually the cable in the carriage track folded in one area. Need to have service replacement.

I have had many customers experience this problem- primarily with clear acrylics. Many started spraying with Bulldog adhesion promoter and eliminated the problem. Supply 55 also has some good products for this.
