I got a NIX sensor - use it with an android phone. Most often, it works great (usually, if its "off" - its way off, so its an obvious problem, and detectable right away) They are constantly updating the apps these days too.

we use those swiffer pads a lot too. I've often thought it might be worth making a rod full of them and attaching it to the front of the laminator, so it gives things a wipe just before passing through the machine :Big Laugh

just installed the 1.2 version of the windows software. Can't verify accuracy yet, but it does seem to work now. I can only find hex codes for the results as well.

same issues here. No android / can't get it to work on Windows. I suspect it only works on 32 bit versions of Windows, since it seems to work for some people. (won't recognize the .inf file on any I've tried it on) Though I don't have an iPhone, I read that the app for that is way out of whack...

I've had a 1204 for 7 years now. I run'em dry, no problem - swapping cartridges doesn't ruin the current print. To stop the beeping, I push "enter" (not cancel) even during printing, without any problems.

actually, the "problem" is farther up the corporate chain. We make proofs, he passes them on to his "standards" rep - and she just says the font's wrong. When asked what font they want, she apparently just tells him "the sign company should know that" ... which is just one of the dumber things...
