Ok so that means the cap isn't sealing. Make sure the head is in low head height and double check that the head is not crooked in the carriage. I usually push the head carriage over the platen and check the gap between the head and the platen. The head surface and the platen should be parallel...
If ink isn't moving at all in all colors it means the maintenance station isn't working properly. Make sure you attached the 3rd tube to the bottom of the cap top. That one tends to be forgotten sometimes during installs and will prevent a seal from forming. If that's connected properly, you can...
It's weird. All over the CJV150 spec sheet it says you can use ES3 ink but in the tech manual it doesn't show as an option to change in the parameters. If it were me I would change the fillup flag to 0 to tell the machine it needs to fill up for the first time. Then it should ask you what type...
I'd love to try a real Australian beer!
When you boot up in local mode, hit enter a few times and it will scroll through some information on the screen. One of those screens will have information about the ink levels and it should show the ink type it's expecting in the top left corner. What...
I was that kid in high school. My dad had disappeared years earlier and my mom was raising 5 kids alone. She couldn't come to all the meets but showed up at the end of year award ceremonies and sometimes the other moms would make little comments about, "Why is she here? etc" We both let it roll...
The cartridges will be set up just like your JV33 so MMCCYYKK. The dampers should be se up as below:
CKCM 2578
MYKY 1346
Take the cover off the back of the cartridge area. You will see where you can connect each line together there. You need to connect the lines because the machine only...
I see a big dent on the other head that lines up with the other ones. It could have been something left on the platen like a screw or something. I'm not sure how the damper could cause physical damage to a head.
The main difference between your current Epson and the new one is the heads have 10 channels instead of 8. So you are running CMYKx2 inks. With the 10 channel heads you get Light Cyan and Light Magenta which smooths out gradients and transitions. You'll also get orange and red which actually...
Those look like dents on the head surface. Dents usually mean the head hit something hard like a screw or some other metal object and wouldn't be covered under warranty. Also, the standard warranty here in the US is only 90 days.
And if you want to do it 100% right, wait 15 minutes after unplugging it. If you test the power output after it's unplugged it's still outputting close to 100% of the power and it takes about 15 minutes to fully discharge.
Which is insulting to their own customers. I've helped 1000's of people fix their own printers over the years. With the right information, patience, and a reassurance that they are capable of doing it, most people can fix their own printer.
Did your dealer do any training? You're supposed to get training at install. Especially if you bought the printer and Flexi as a package from the same dealer, they should have at least gone through setting up the printer and doing a print/cut job. I don't leave an install until the customer has...
Helltown concepts I'm not 100% but if this is something you would want to try, I believe it would be the heater control board you would want. I replaced a main board on a machine that had the cards turned off and they still were turned off after the procedure so the main board didn't seem to...
My first thought was a bad cap top or clogged pump tube but since all the nozzle are perfect except for cyan and yellow, I'm leaning more towards a bad damper or the head is damaged internally. If the dampers are older than 1 to 2 years old, that would be the more likely reason. If the damper...
Looks like there might be a coating on that paper for aqueous inks. Solvent inks usually aren't compatible with that type of coating. There are solvent printable papers out there with no coating though.
