Hi! I can't say that I like it much at all. Three completely different fonts (script, block, serif) all jammed together - not good. Visually disturbing. I sincerely think there are better solutions. You mention that you're not a good designer.... which made me curious as to how you ended up...

I like the background a lot... as well as the "Wraps" logo on the driver-side. I agree that the phone number and secondary text on the driver's rear side panels is not the best choice in font/execution. Also agree with the others on the "T" looking like an "I." Some good, some bad points here.

I didn't know that was a fish...looked like an opened Swiss Army knife to me. Hahaha. Still think the 'condom' comparison was the most accurate.

Hahahaha...... that was great, and I doubt anyone could offer up a more fitting critique. Since you're asking for opinions on the logo, I'd agree this is horrible; well, maybe one click better than Nephew Napkin Art. Good luck making this stinker shine. ;-)

Oy... where to start?! Kudos for putting yourself out there for critique... but this logo has a lot of layout problems and very little visual appeal. But instead of just stating this and leaving the thread, I'm going to try and enumerate a few constructive points which I hope you'll take...

I like the idea of two ice-cream cones offset too.... although I like your original "ice cream" font better than anything I've seen,.....I do like it combined with Jillbeans font. Here's something I did for another sign person about a year ago...for whatever ideas it may generate....may be...

Glad you came out of this safe Doug - my apologies for being a late-comer for well-wishers. Yesterday was odd in that I actually wasn't in tune with the national/international news. Glad all is safe.

It's alright, but seems very generic and cold to me for a sign site. It's lacking the imagery on the main page that might make the viewer intrigued enough to delve deeper into the site. I'd suggest checking out the Diaz Sign site... Joe has done a great job designing their site, it's fun...

I'm no PETA fanatic, by a looong stretch - but I too think it's really absurd to stick a big whale in a little tank and expect them not to go stir-crazy. They're used to the wide-open ocean. I was in the pet store the other day, and saw some beautiful Parrot-looking birds in a cage for sale...

Zeth mocked up what I was going to suggest: The "Construction" needs to be a thin, sans-serif, with ample inter character kerning - like he is showing you. I'd definitely ditch the extreme 'points' on the sign shape... and add some more space on the sign blank around the bottom so that...

Says "Jeweler" to me.... tasteful, simply elegant...the way it should be. The angled filigrees are throwing me a little... but just a little, not much you can do about it anyway.

Now we're talkin'..... stunningly good looking design. Have you ever used the 'split' font effect you show here before..... I like that - how did you decide upon that, by experimentation or by intent? Way cool.... and the colors are dynamic.
