The heater in the 80600 sucks close to 1500W while heating, so you'll need a big UPS to handle it.
What model APC did you get? My bets are on it not being large enough, hence the tripping.
Top print speeds of 1630 vs. 1650 is 111sq.m/h vs 159sq.m/h so it's still 70% of the speed which is still very quick compared to the competition.
In the launch video they claim that output quality is identical across both so I would imagine the head setup to be the same.
The only thing I'd like...
I hate 8518 for the reasons you've mentioned above. The adhesive gets waaaay too aggressive over time, and our laminator won't take up the liner either. Has never happened to any other media we've used so we just stopped using 8518.
FYI, was just talking to our Hexis dealer and they said that some laminates will not stick to the matte printing from a 1650, however will stick perfectly fine to gloss prints. Something to keep in mind.

The Arizona range has different ink sets depending what you're printing... IJ255 is their gloss UV made for paper stock, however I don't know anyone that uses it.
IJ256 is slightly more adhesive, and slight more matte. IJ257 is more adhesive again, around the same gloss level as 256. IJ258 is...
Forum style had somehow changed from the default "Carbon" to "Horizonal Postbit" which was causing the issue.
Changed back to Carbon and we're good again. Something faulty in the other style by the looks of it.
No luck... tried in Firefox, Chrome and Edge. Same result in all 3.
I've never tried S101 in Edge until today for the first time, so no cache to clear.
Also tried four other machines, same result :(
Yeah, the 3.2 was in development right after the 1640 was finished, but had to be dropped when all of the problems started so the 1650 had to be released to fix them all so it went on the back burner for a while. I reckon we'll see it one day...
Modular Colorado sounds pretty cool though.
Both printers listed virtually worked out of the box, but there are so many tweaks/improvements/mods you can do to both. I've changed a few parts on each to get them to work how we need and couldn't be happier.
Neither are locked into using filament/resin or even parts from the manufacturer, so...
