I will look into that charge back. I did some as a wire transfer and then some as cc. Supposedly my tech from Up and Running told roland its printing fine. He didnt tell them he put head speed to 760 and printed uni directional for testing.

Well they have been doing nothing but wasting my time and money and printing samples and all they do is slow the head speed down and print in unidirectional. Not a good answer. I am just glad i can print 44 of 54 inch material at this moment otherwise i think I would need a loan just to stay...

We had a new VG-540 printer installed on December 21st. It isnt printing correct. It is now been a month. The tech came out twice. I sent samples to roland two weeks ago. The tech came out for a second time today and printed same things and is going to be sending to roland. That cant figure...

We did this before and debated on tape or screws. We painted heads of screws and not noticeable 10 ft away.

I would do the overprint twice. Really works good for back lit translucent vinyl anyhow.

We use 8048 on everything but cast.

We have also printed on different laminates. We typically laminate over it as well.

For the scale part what do you mean on that?

I had the encoder do it’s thing in service mode to measure everything out. Tried messing with the calibration for cutting and the middle square is always opposite from the left and right square.

Then my print/cut is all messed up. The right square for adjusting and left square or complete opposite to the middle square when trying to adjust them.

Here is a close up of some things we printed. The clear one is in center of media and the other one is on left or right side of media.

So I got all the middle ripples out does seem to lift a little on left and right of any size material put in printer. On 54 inch I can print 42 inch center on media and it will print perfect no matter what settings. If I print 52 5 inches on left and 5 inches on right will print blurry and fills...

Is anyone's cut strip this recessed into the platen? I feel as if it should be flush to the surface.

Right now the tech has the settings at 100% for vac.

It depends how far you put the outer pinch rollers.

Well a 54 for is about 52 or a little above with pinch rollers to i am guessing 60 would be around 58.2

If that's the case i should get a 64 inch printer and center 54 inch media on printer and it should work fine.

So far the band-aid fix is always printing in unidirection. And then it print pretty clear. Tech seems to think its not the ripples and its the head going back and forth thats messing up the first 5 inches and last 5 inches of vinyl.
