  1. Is Anyone Hiring?

I don't know but something tells me you would do well in a job at the post office.
  2. pixeling on jv33-160

Was the printer running fine before not being used for a while? Also, am I understanding correctly that random characters seem to be printing when they shouldn't as well? Post a nozzle check.
  3. Advice on Roland xc540 problem

As mentioned above, try a new damper. If that doesn't so the trick and you know ink is flowing properly, it's probably a failing head and\or head board. When you change the damper, make sure to take a look at the manifold first. Use a bright light so it's easier to see any cracks or damage. A...
  4. ERATIC BLADE HOLDER, BOUNCING GRAPHTEC FC8600-130

There is a part on the carriage that looks like a thin piece of metal with lines cut through it. It's an encoder for the actuator. If it has dust or something else on it that prevents the optical sensor from reading the lines properly, you can get erratic movement like this.
  5. Finecut Connection issue

Is it in remote mode? Also, this may have changed but for a long time the USB port was simply named, "USB_PRINTER_0" in the drop down list. The machine has to be on and plugged in for that to show up though. I assume you have already installed the latest Mimaki USB driver?
  6. Question Prining OPOS marks through Rasterlink 6

Exactly as mentioned above. Rasterlink is Mimaki only. If you want to streamline your workflow, you need a full service RIP like Flexi or Onyx.
  7. RIP Computer

If you're running one printer off of it, cores don't matter as much as clock speed. If you need to RIP multiple files at once, more cores can help. I wouldn't go less than 16gb of ram and an M.2 drive will help as well.
  8. Cheapest place to buy Epson Parts - Printhead, etc.

Feel free to contact us. We can get Epson parts but may need a serial number for heads. It's best to email for quote requests. Support@solventinkjet.com
  9. cast laminate

The official material sheet says it is and at 1.3mil thickness I don't think it would be possible to calendar that.
  10. Need Help ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 "G733QSA-Xs99" vs "G733QSA-XB99"

One has 1tb of space and the other has 2tb as well.
  11. Mimaki CJV150 Magenta over spray

If you haven't changed dampers and cap top in about 1 to 2 years, especially on the cap top, I would start there. Do you see any air in the ink line?
  12. CJV150-130 Issues with Reg Mark/Leaf Cutting

I have a customer who runs two CJV150s and prints/cuts batches of about 8 feet all day long. They usually make the crop marks much bigger and there's actually a little area in Rasterlink near the crop mark settings that will suggest a mark size. That might help you get the longer files going...
  13. CJV150-130 Issues with Reg Mark/Leaf Cutting

Does the grit roller continue to spin when the machine stalls after pulling the media through during the "leaf" measurement? If it does, that could indicate that either you're not loading the media in the proper position or the sensor that reads the end of the leaf is not working properly. If it...
  14. CJV30 Missing right side magenta

I've seen this issue a bunch of times. The cap slider wears out over time and makes the cap engage too late which makes the cap offset just enough to miss the magenta channel during cleanings. Pop a new cap slider in and that should do the trick. In a pinch I've also shimmed the part of the call...
  15. Parting out a fully working Mutoh VJ1624

We are parting out a Mutoh VJ1624 that was in full working condition before decommissioning. We have too many used machines at the moment and it's an older machine so we've decided to part it out. We sell used parts at 50% cost. Feel free to call 303-733-6671.
  16. Mark on Prints

Could be static or electrical for sure but I would start by inspecting and cleaning the encoder strip. How's the nozzle check look?
  17. Searching for type of sign and possible vendor

Kroy Sign Systems is a manufacturer that comes to mind but there are a bunch as mentioned above.
  18. artwork

I usually select all objects, copy and paste in front, merge the new objects together into one shape, and then expand in Illustrator. If I need a bleed or white area around the decal, I use the offset path function. This works in most cases but sometimes you might need to tweek it a bit.
  19. Bordeaux ink sale for Mutoh, Mimaki, and Roland printers

Bump for anyone who might have missed it.
  20. G-Mail Alternative

If you have a website, check with your hosting provider. A lot of the time they will throw in an email for free or cheap.
