The logo doesn't have to be huge... ask yourself and your client, "What are you selling? Your logo or used cars?" Make the important info stand out first!
Maybe they should have tried that Hexis Wrap material. That has some serious stretch potential. Plus, you'd think they'd have the bottom of the barrel heated with like an infrared heater to evenly heat the material. That way you could just plunge dip the helmet instead of forcing it like that...
My apologies... I meant Challenger II (The Ultra Light) I know at least 4 general aviation pilots (retired) who have built these and love them! I want one really badly myself. But I'll wait until I move back out in the sticks again to get one. The soaring aspect is amazing! Finally got to take a...
So how long until you start working on building your own experimental sport craft? Or are you jut going to end up with a Challenger like all the other commercial pilots?
Plenty of options for vacuum hold down tables that will sit right on top of any router table. Just look at the options on ebay "CNC Vacuum Table" many of them work with a small shop vac. Or even look into the vacuum pucks. Those allow for side and profile machining without having to worry about...
Knowledge is Power. You can't grow until you know what you don't know.
It's kind of amazing to find so many people supposedly in the biz, and they have no idea they can do better, or get better. Whatever that may be. Designing, materials sources etc... they are so stuck in the way they are...
I don't know why people upload images to BotW as .cdr format? (Or .ai for that matter, even though I can open those) It's just so unprofessional to me to leave stuff in their native formats.
You know, I'd hate to think what people might think about me by looking in my junk drawer. I've got some pretty random stuff in there. I even have syringes myself... (for pulling ink out of my printer, but might not be obvious to those trying to figure out my life via my treasure chest)
That is true, but there aren't many shops out there anymore that still use plates, negatives and add in additional set-up charges that can actually compete on price with a run of 150k impressions. The huge automated presses have pushed out the mom & pops with their cute little Ryobi's 5 tower...
Hey, well sometimes that's all you need to do. I even sometimes get all full of myself as a designer and forget that I only have to meet the client's needs... not pad my portfolio with awesomeness every time out the gate.
I'm not worried about price anymore... because the hack down the street can't compete with my designs. That's what I sell... a brand image and my expertise.
4-Over has crept into the wide format industry. I remember being so mad when they launched Grand4Mat... I thought I was going to be ruined.
Marco, I'm logged in and checked your banner out there... yeah, you might want to look there. You can make decent coin reselling to your client.
It's actually really interesting to see client's reaction to the F-U Triangle... I mean look how simple this was. But the layperson this is "Awesome!" and they love it. Sometimes I just shake my head, because I realized something a long time ago. You only have to design something that is better...
