Illustrator + Cad Tools from Hot Door. It's a plug in that saves huge amounts of time when adding dimensions and other cad-like elements. Create a title block and presto, you have an efficient way of generating cad-like proofs.
We've had similar pieces for some displays. I think we went through Nova Displays, or Gyford. Can't remember which.

I have a request for some ADA signage from a very good client of ours. ADA is not something we're capable of handling in house. Taking their request I was able to create a mock-up in 3D software, and they thought it was excellent. Now I just don't know how to produce it. Our typical vendor...
Thank you for all the recommendations. Metalcraft was very helpful, and has already provided a quote. Bull Steel looks more like the produce we have, and the weights match up. I've left a message.
We do plenty of Signicades, but they don't fit the bill this time.
Again, thanks all!
I ordered 10 angle iron a-frames a while back. We typically got them from a local sign supply company, they hinged at the top, handle on the side, and the faces bolted in. They were very sturdy. I ordered 10 for a project and opened up the boxes to find a-frames that feel about 1/3 the weight...
We cut (should probably say score) .020" and .030". Snydo is correct, in that the usual way is goes wrong is the feeding in and out, so you wan the material to be level both front and back. Go slow, lots of force, then pop all the pieces free.
We've even printed on our flat bed with...
So I picked up a Grizzly shear for cutting aluminum, ACM, and others. I picked this model based on several reviews here. We unloaded easily enough (having a forklift is key there) and got the crate broke down. I was first a little surprised by the amount of cosmoline/grease on the piece. The...
Charge for substrate, time to cut/run the order, and send it off. Our pricing would have waste built in for scrap, packaging, etc. Make it a job and make it profitable.
You'd cut a printed sign no problem, but not an unprinted sign? I don't see the difference. I realize these customers are...
Looks like https://nationaltradeshowdisplays.com/product/pegasus/ is just a reseller of Orbus materials. The images and videos on their site are the non-branded ones supplied by Orbus.

I'm looking for a trade vendor that can make custom ADA type signage. We're wanting something a little higher class than the Vista systems type signage. Anyone know of a good vendor that can create some nice signage?
Thank you for the reply. Perhaps I'll post a video and see if anyone can suggest technique changes.
We had 2 rolls of banner that we couldn't run through our printer because of a crushed core. We went through both training on the thing. Still slower. :banghead:
Do you have any suggestions for...
Curious to see if anyone else is heat welding banners over good ol' banner tape. Last year we had a member of our team visit the SGIA show. One of the pieces of equipment he came back with great reviews was a Leister banner welder - the Uniplan E.
We wound up purchasing one about a year ago...
