leave the power on all the time. It has a cleaning cycles it must run.
We use Roland's LBV profile on most scrim banners. It comes packaged in the software.
Multicam hands down. My story is too long to type, but if you want to chat sometime I'll give you the lowdown.
I have owned and operated 5 different CNC's in my life. My 3000 series is as good as machines 3X the price.
I also have a well kept 1000 series for sale if you are interested.
Today we started making molds for a few items we'll be repeating a few times over the coming month. I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't a little excited!!!

That statement about paying is hardly fair. We have had 4 Rolands and when we have had an isolated issue, they have been quick to deal with it. I would find a new dealer. Roland relies on them heavily to do the servicing and warranty work.
My dealer is top notch.
we love our white ink. Skip the metallic. Very expensive and in our experience, no one wants to pay for it. Our metallic slot has a cleaner cartridge in it now... we were pumping it in the trash.

tons of companies out there making matte screen appliqué pieces for the mac. I like my glossy screens though.
BTW..... my Retina MacBook Pro edits HD video and doesn't even break a sweat. That and the best customer service in the business is what makes them worth it.
we uses 99% denatured to clean ink of some mistakes, but there are some substrates it will never come off of. FRP being one.
That being said, we usually soak the crap out of the piece and let it sit a while to soften the inks.
Agreed... we moved from the XC540 also and while it was bulletproof ( 2 capping stations in 5 years ) I will say this XR will run circles around it. Zero DOWN TIME!!!!!
