You're probably going to have to do what Z signs says. I doubt there's going to be a profile for it. The profile is dependent on a white point, which I'm sure the metallic doesn't provide. If the generic one you used is satisfactory, just stick with that. Otherwise, test, test, test... Good...

I believe its called flushing in the menu. (It's been a while since I've used a 1204). I think the options were on the edge of the vinyl - as you have now, which is quicker - or on the pad, which takes slightly longer due to the head having to travel a little further. Good Luck

Try working in the center of the roller. Some of those are slightly crowned in the center and will cause wrinkles if you're working at the edge of the table. Good Luck,

If your take up is pulling to the side, that could cause the paper to lift up, maybe not enough for a head strike, but enough to throw off calibrations. Try printing a roll without using the take-up. If you still have problems at least you know the take up isn't causing them. Check the dates...

The XR's are a very good, very stable printer. They've been out for quite a while now, so any bugs have been worked out of them long ago. Good Luck, Joe

Have you tried printing unidirectional? Double check your calibrations. Also, when things happen "all of the sudden" check your environment. If the temp is higher in your shop, or humidity lower, the ink will dry before it has a chance to spread out like normal. I've also seen static...

Not much difference operationally. Plus just added the swivel knife to the plotter.

What version of Versaworks are you using? (Help >About) Have you updated your firmware to the latest version available?

This should be under warranty, no? Why not call your dealer and get them on this?
