Most gloss medias don't accept ink as well as any matte medias. I keep asking 3M for an IJ180Cv3-20. I have had success with writing a custom profile with a reduce ink level specifically for the gloss medias.

We were replacing about every 1500-2000ml. The last set we replaced was 5000ml. We usually change when we have the colour shift is unbearable. Yes, we replace them all at once. We are with in 250ml across the board on average when we replace them.

I have printed on various fabrics on a L26500 and a LX800. The pick of the litter at the moment for us is berger eco display 210fr. Nice touch and feel. Similar to the dye-sublimation fabric we have had done in the past.

We sew and tape hem. Sewing is preferred in my opinion. Nicer,cleaner look. Double needle. 1 1/4" hem. Webbing if needed for longer outdoor life. We use tape if the customer has to have it now.
