have a job with 4x4 vinyl post and panel sign frames.
customer wants to put 4x4 wood posts in the vinyl post for re-enforcement.
i have always installed them just with the vinyl post and never had an issue (that i am aware of)
anyway questions...
do i get a 3x3 wooden post because of the ends...
actually it was a burgundy color but it was oracal 651 vinyl not printed. i think the material itself will be fine. i would be more interested in what the outdoor life of the ink is
and my install was in boonton so not far from you and it went through the winter ok
Komacel features
Weatherproof and light-fast
Chemical-resistant
Non-corroding
they claim should be fine outdoors, for how long not sure
did a 2 sided sign 3/4" with cut vinyl and outside for a year now with no issues.
just applied the vinyl direct
"i sent you a hi-res pdf. i don't understand why you are having a problem." mostly get that from brokers/sales people but even better when you get that from a file sent by a designer????????????? wth
quoting a job to attach a sign or banner to a steel storage container. it's stationary and won't be moving.
figured i could just rivet aluminum panels or rivet a banner to the side. any recommendations on a heavy duty riveter? don't want to spend money on something that going to break after a...
i have an xc-540 that we've had 14 or 15 yrs and i use 3rd party inks in that. they are a nazdar brand. nazdar makes ink, that's what they do so i trust them. (we have been buying silk screen ink from them for over 30 yrs that i know of.) we also have an xc-640, lej 640 and the truvis all of...
something that size shouldn't be too bad but if it's on the cold side of the thermometer be gentle the colder the easier the rip. i have done installs as low as 30 degrees (not recommended but it can be done). i also do mostly dry installs myself but which ever way you are comfortable and works...
while we are on the subject.... here's a good in shop experience for your back. opening and loading a new roll of 63" x 167' scrim banner material.
that does wonders for your back...haha...ouch
i do know stretches you can do to relive the pain from the pinched nerve but can't really explain them. try searching on youtube. and yoga is great. but as already mentioned ice and heat are great and some Advil. also now that you have an issue it will be good to stretch or do yoga on a regular...
i am aware of the requirements for commercial vehicles but the customer has a personal vehicle (non-commercial and he wants to put lettering for his business on there so was asking if anyone knew of any laws on that. i know there are companies that pay you to have your car wrapped with their...
i know it probably differs from state to state but anyone know what if any restrictions there are with having lettering/graphics for a business on a non-commercial vehicle?
hi Bradley,
don't remember exactly but the lettering was SWEAT approx 20" high lettering bold font, like a helv heavy and i think it was around 2500 give or take 100 it was a few years ago
thanks for the info.
i was going to slit the back in a few places. i generally do that with most larger installs. just easier to work with. i have no problem with perf normally but usually do vehicle windows or small store windows
have a couple of store windows to install printed window perf.
35" x 57" and 53" x 125". this is not your normal lam or not lam perf debate.
i usually don't lam unless some weird circumstances cause me to. possibly like this.
perf can be a little tricky sometimes stretching or ripping tough to...
