Yep your error message say's 0.0 which is an error. It should read something close to the size of the width of the machine, in your case 1960mm
Glad you sorted it

Hi
Replace the encoder sensor first even though it may look ok.
Or go into test mode and do a encoder test and see what result you get with regard to error message from the test result.

Have you downloaded the USB driver?
Does the screen change when you are in control panel/system/hardware/device manager. When you remove or reinsert the usb cable?

So have you also done the drop pos correction both in service mode and normal customer mode?
Also have you done all the print configeration modes?
It looks like misalignment to me

What is your test print look like?
I would think perhaps head dirty try a nozzle wash for at least 30 mins.
I would like to see what the test print looks like. But to me it is nozzle deflection/overspray. Are you using OE inks or aftermarket?
Worst case new head ..but lets see first..

Have you tried pushing some cleaning fluid through the heads via a syringe and new damper and use a push ..pull effect?
This has worked for me in the past.
What are the oem inks you have?
es3 ss21 hs ecohs1 ss22.. Ts.. bs1 bs2 bs3?
Have you connected the syringe to one of the pump lines...
If you have seen the problem on several machines then it must be the ink, however proving it is the hardest. As you have several machines doing it I would go back to the ink supplier and say to them whats happening.
This is a very frustrating problem as everybody will pass the buck and say its...
Ok so under start/ control /panel/ system/ device manager /do you see mimaki staus ports listed?
If so good
if no then thats one problem.
What mode is the plotter set to under the menu on the plotter itself?
Try the auto setting and then try the usb as well.
Make sure its not set to serial
On...
Try changing the date back one year.
Although
I suspect its electronic , as you have already tried what I would have done.
Its hard when you are not actually looking at the problem.

There is a set of tubes coming from the front of the capping station that you screw on a syringe. You then need to cap the heads and then suck through the syringe. If you get nothing through then the head is either blocked or the damper is faulty.
I have seen new damper faulty within 5 mins of...
How did u switch open the valves? did you use the setting in the service menu or did you do what I suggested by jamming the valves open with something?
I still believe the valves are NOT opening enough and will restrict the flow of ink.
I have had this now on many occasions especially on a JV5...
Hello
What JF?
What head did you use genuine or non genuine?
Did u get waveforms and voltages with new head as this is what designates the droplet size and correct firing.
Are the pumps working and can you see the damper diaphram suck in when u select cleaning for the cyan?
Can u suck through...
