yes, they changed the liner. It is thinner and flimsy now. I had it break once in the edge on a multi color job that went back and forth, and when it does run good, there might be other problems cutting and finishing it. Not sure why they changed it.

I know, but with the new liner on the white void they are using it is difficult to run. I know about the silver void, but the checkerboard pattern is so good. I will miss it.

I just finished up what I had left of some old gerber shiny silver checkerboard tamper material. I cant seem to find it now anywhere. Does anyone have a punch roll they want to sell or know of anyone who sells it for the gerber. Steve

Fred, I just did that. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for. Some areas look darker than others. I get clumps of darker spots and areas of even spots.

I neglect cleaning my printhead. I am going to start doing that more often now.

I am assuming you dont have a maintenance agreement then? I had to ship mine back. They sent me a loaner first and I put mine in the box they sent me. When mine was fixed I just did a box swap again.

keep it simple You may not be able to do this, but I have done a few jobs where I just used the tuff cover lexan like laminate. That way you can just treat the job like any other. Steve

I'm not sure if this is true. I just tried a test with Nikalite 4800 reflective material that is punched. It prints terrible. It will run through the plotter fine if you want to cut it but I dont think all materials are thermal coated to run through a thermal printer.

I have been using LG reflective but my supplier is out of it. What other options for reflective are there for the gerber besides 3M?

Thanks, I think it will be cheaper to source the job out. That is just to much time and ribbons.

Has anyone had any success on the gerber doing a two sided static cling window decal? Even when I sandwich a color in between I can still see through the other side when light hits it. Steve
