National Men Make Dinner Day is today.
Will you be observing this or does your wife do all the cooking no matter what?
It is also the Earl of Sandwich's anniversary of the invention of the sandwich.
Maybe make the wife a sandwich for dinner???

I have a good excuse. We haven't had electric since Saturday afternoon, so other than microwave.... we're going out to eat......... again !! I do the grill stuff on weekends, not at night in the dark.

Good timing! Wife & I are on day 2 of our 2 day cleanse. We finish tonight with a nutritional, yummy shake, so I guess I'll push the blender button!!

I cook every night, most of my guy friends are the cooks in their marriages as well. Maybe it's a generational thing.

I always cook... then again, I've been single almost 4 and a half years, so if I don't, I starve.

my son brought me home a Taco Bell flat bread chicken thingy for lunch today... does that count?
actually he bought me two, and i only ate one... eating the other for dinner is probably as close as i'm gonna get.

So what powers the microwave? You have the stationary bike wired up to power it?

So the wife pedals while you cook, or the other way around? Ahhhh **** it, go out to eat. :ROFLMAO:

We have a 'House Generator' hooked up. However, we have our well, furnace, two refrigerators, freezer, microwave and a few outlets hooked up. Only essentials.

It's now day 7 and this chit is getting old.... fast. It takes 9 gallons of gas every 24 hours and they told us we should be up by Sunday night. If not, Monday morning.

I can take a shower, but I have no light to shave. Good thing I have a beard... it's just getting bushier. It's the longest we've ever been without electric. Last night we ate at one of the clubs we belong to. Tonight, we'll go somewhere else, but tomorrow, we're going to a customer's 'Open House'. Plenty of food will be had there and then we're going to the casino. Three big fat checks came in this week with a huge deposit coming in today or Monday. It's things like this that make the outage seem... well, kinda alright.
