  1. How long to wait for newly painted trailer?

I really don't think anyone would go to those lengths for a repaint on an old trailer. Two real possibilities. Either he tells you who painted and with what kinda paint or you give him a 55 warranty.
  2. Wall Vinyl recommendation

Have you tried making a mask and rolling on paint ??
  3. How long to wait for newly painted trailer?

I highly doubt it will be baked, so I'd recommend at least 30 days. If they can't provide you with necessary information, it's a disaster in disguise
  4. Discussion Who "owns" the artwork? ... a conundrum when AI is involved

It's on your client to have it established who can and cannot use the design. When you go to a paint store and buy wall paper everyone has the right to pick and choose anything they want without hesitation...... because the store bought all those rights. Your part of the overall contribution...
  5. Discussion Who "owns" the artwork? ... a conundrum when AI is involved

Ya know, that's a pretty good question. Years ago, our motto was bring us you ideas, partials thoughts or whatever ya have, We can take your needs and wants from any point and we'll finish it for you professionally. We basically used our expertise to create a sign, which is an end product...
  6. Why is it that 80% of the posts are "issues" with digital printers or printing?

This subject has been beaten to death dozens and dozens of times. There's a need for all of it. From eyes to hand coordination to observing what you manipulate on a monitor to outsourcing and doing relatively nothing. I'm not retired yet, but I am trying to slow down with personal problems at...
  7. Rant What kind of sorcery is this?!

Perhaps, but I had something I wanted to say to you which wouldn't interest anyone else on the site, but not about the content of this thread or any others. A personal matter. Whatever. I thought we could discuss something on a totally different subject. Why don't you want or have the need...
  8. Rant What kind of sorcery is this?!

Good for you, but that seems quite odd for someone who has so much to say and input. You once said, you love to debate and discuss things, but how can one do that, if they shut themselves off purposely ??
  9. Rant What kind of sorcery is this?!

Since you have limited access to PM with you, please PM me, instead.
  10. Rant What kind of sorcery is this?!

Personally, they don't bother me, other than the content in some of them..... or what they seem to represent. The owner here has no control over that. If this is what bothers some of you, it must be tough for you that cannot deal with such a trivial matter. How do you survive the real...
  11. This should be fun. :o

Not a bad idea prosign. Truckgraphics....... not to be rude, but are your suggestions tried and true or is most of what you say, heresay ?? tulsa............ I would ask your contact for a meeting and open a dialog about many locations or just this one ?? If they show any interest, you can...
  12. This should be fun. :o

The panels SHOULD not be re-used, as it is kaput. I have never used supplied vinyls or substrates. You cannot control the quality, therefore unless they only need a 3 month guarantee, step a side and let someone else do it. A different approach would be to just do a face lift in your shop on...
  13. Is this a one-person removal?

Okay, the story is getting better. If you're not insured for this kinda work and never did it, I'm afraid you're gonna hafta pass altogether. Just because you think this or that...... insurance trumps all attempts, not to mention codes.
  14. Is this a one-person removal?

Yes, I suggested standing on a ledge, if it was a possibility. It appeared to be a foot to 1.5 foot to stand on. If all you're doing is removing a few lags in a wall and dropping the unit with a rope down the side, I see nothing wrong with that. However, codes and/or insurance might see it...
  15. Is this a one-person removal?

After looking at it again, it appears like there might be a ledge up there, you can stand on. Is that a possibility ??
  16. Is this a one-person removal?

To be honest, I'd need to know how far out the awning goes, before answering. With a bucket, no sweat. Just don't see how a ladder with a pertruding awning will work. Even with your rental cost, you'd still be below an outtatowner.
  17. Faux Wood Exterior on sign?

You could do it the old fashioned way with a wood grain tool set. I've wated some people who make it really look easy and that stuff, if you use the right paint will last 25 years
  18. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Is there a way to just put this WHOLE THREAD on ignore ?? This whole thing has now gotten to a point, where there's no right or wrong, good or bad or anything else. It's just a pathetic buncha kids playing in the sandbox and everyone seems to be in the wet end throwing the pissy sand around...
  19. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Yes, someone is paying tax on some of the buildings, but many of them live in abandoned buildings..... like 5 and 6 families in one building. Many years ago, we rented out a 3,800 sq ft building to some hispanic guys who had a delivery business. They said they'd bring the food in by tractor...
  20. US Tariffs, Sigh!

The illegals in my area don't contribute to NOTHING. They send their money back home to bring more relatives up. They live under the radar and pay for everything in cash. Nothing to trace. They live in barns, out buildings and all kindsa other places, but again, under the radar. They set up...
