The UCJV300 was an oversell for what you're doing. Get a solvent printer. Mimaki JV150, Mutoh XPJ1641SR Pro are two good options.

Mutoh's smart card system definitely fails more often than other brands I work on. The main problem I see is that 1 bad/misaligned card can cause the entire system to error out. They did do a firmware update that made it so you could have 2 cards fail and it would allow you to continue anyway...

That's a pretty common issue I've seen with the older JV33 and CJV30 models. I would change the cap top slider or just the whole station entirely. The slider is usually the culprit though. Yup, highest resolution file with properly set ink levels, slowest motor speed available, and perfect head alignments.

Trunk or treating is ruining the old trick or treating. People drive to a parking lot and do it there instead. It's easier to do but kills the magic.

Use the highest resolution color profile you have available, slow the motor speed down to the slowest speed (usually a setting in the rip), and make sure your head alignments are perfect. Or have procolorgraphics do it.
