  1. 315 printing issue - Ink, Optimizer, or Substrate?

The black bar at the bottom is the barcode line; it should be jet black of course. Printed a few dozen of these and the problem was fairly random over the total print. Replaced the black and the optimizer today. I'm 7ml into the black and 1ml into the optimizer. Any ideas? Look familiar...

  3. The FONT Project

  4. corel/flexi print question

What do you mean exactly here? That IS a repeating pattern. Even in the screenshot it's a repeating pattern.
  5. The FONT Project

This is a joke, right? Okay this is obviously a joke. I'm guessing thousands of left handed programmers would disagree with you here.
  6. corel/flexi print question

+1 to these. That's what we do if we're struggling with ANY vector related issue. Or if you need vector for cut lines then convert the offending parts into a bitmap within Corel and export the hybrid file as a pdf.
  7. This county seal is, I just, wow

Seriously though, here are the two neighboring counties' Honestly I love Van Buren County's—it's not timeless by any means but at least somebody had a vision and the skills to see it through!

  11. Lord Adhesive failure, any advice?

Don't have a brake though, or a welder! I ask this with all humility as I'm new to making my own pans and don't have much metal fab experience in general—what part might sag? As for the glue holding, since the frame angle is held square to the brick and the sign "lip" angle is held square to...
  12. Lord Adhesive failure, any advice?

:roflmao: PLENTY of alupanel scrap laying around + using less aluminum angle.
  13. Lord Adhesive failure, any advice?

I just googled it - chemical concepts has it in the 50ml size we know and love, and $2 less than the non GB stuff is at Wensco -
  14. Lord Adhesive failure, any advice?

Thanks for your help everybody! Put the sign up last night. First time using this mounting system that I learned about on our beloved signs101! SO EASY
  15. Lord Adhesive failure, any advice?

I don't really understand why the GB option is not more ready available (at least not from Wensco and Grimco) as that sure would simplify clamping. ETA: GB stands for glass beads - they're in the adhesive and ensure a sufficient thickness
  16. Lord Adhesive failure, any advice?

I wiped it down with acetone and then 100% isopropyl. Yeah I definitely didn't scuff it well enough—I scuffed it with way too fine sandpaper. Especially since Lord's themselves just says nothing about scuffing metal (or even doing a thorough cleaning fer chrissakes!) I thought I had done...
  17. Lord Adhesive failure, any advice?

Ouch I'm guessing that knowledge doesn't come from book learnin'
  18. Lord Adhesive failure, any advice?

Thank you for checking that. It was 60-70 where it was stored but anything's possible!
  19. Lord Adhesive failure, any advice?

I decided to clean it with acetone and then really clean it with a 36 grit sanding disc :D there's going to be a whole lot of mechanical adhesion where before it was all very smooth. I had given it enough tooth for painting but not much more. Also for grins I did drill some small holes as...
