  1. Leaking ink

that could be a few things. More than likely the white pump in the back behind the cartridges. A tech can come fix it. You would have to call Epson and they will get you set up with decision one where they will quote the job.
  2. Suggestions I have many 220 ink cartridges which still have ink in them

Seems to me adding ink to another cartridge will only leave you with that much left over in the newer cartridge. The chips are accounting for a certain volume of ink. Once the machine thinks it has used that ink it reads zero. If it thinks there is 220mL worth of ink and you add 50mL you will...
  3. Rotary engravers

We have 4 rotary engravers. Xenetech used to be the top dog but once the founder died they fell back quite a bit. The other 3 that we run are Vision. They are solid machines as well. We use the 1212 for small parts but also go all the way up to their 2550 bed. You can laser plastic wood and...
  4. UV print job

I would try and find someone local depending on how big of a sheet your looking for.
  5. Routing sandwiched Arcylic and ACM

your not going to get good results using 1 bit and trying to do it all. you really need to cut the top layer with the correct bit then cut the bottom layer with the correct bit for that. Its a pain but that would be the only way to not kill your bits.
  6. Discussion RGB to CMYK file

I would just print the file in the RGB format they brought it in. No need to convert it let the RIP handle that.

  10. Vinyl Master users - Way to clear the spooler? Im pissed

I would say if they don't give a crap then find new software.
  11. UV LED Printing ADA signs

We run Trotec lasers to cut the wording and figures out as it gives it a lot cleaner look that using a rotary engraver. We have Xenetech and Vision engravers that allow us to engrave the holes for the raster beads. The vision would allow you to cut the works and figures punch the holes and...
  12. How to increase the adhesiveness of vinyl for installation on concrete?

You are asking for trouble trying to add something to make the vinyl more aggressive. This just needs to get reprinted on the proper material. Site evaluations are always important to know exactly what you are working with.
  13. Sign torn off - thoughts?

3mm ACM is only used if going flat on a building wall. We use 063 aluminum for the simple 18x12 parking signs anything larger will get 080 aluminum.
  14. EFI 1625 LED, is it worth purchasing used?

We had a 1625 and it was a nightmare. We got EFI to upgrade us to the 16H and it has been great going on 2 years now. I would never even think about a 1625 even if someone gave it to me for free.
  15. Need Help JFX200 White Ink Problems

Could be a few things. What is the humidity in the room? If humidity is low it can cause white ink problems. Static? Static can cause ink droplets to move from the intended position. nozzle deflection? What does the actual nozzle test look like. If a nozzle is partially blocked the ink...

I would do each letter individually then you don't have to worry about getting all the color to align.
  17. Doming Resin

We use Dymax. Had a little slow delivery the last order but still got our product.
  18. Alternative to dry erase board

We print in reverse on acrylic and flood with white. If you print on the front a laminate would be needed as cleaning sucks if not.
