HI! I am hoping somebody knows whats going on here. Wherever the media advances, it skips about 2" of cutting as shown in the pic. It doesnt just advance too far and start where it left off - it actually skips those 2 inches. Letter shown should say ORSI and I marked in blue where the...
Wow thanks for the link that was a wealth of knowledge in that other thread. Yeah we are definitely going to stop using the 40C for these applications.
Yeah and to think I suggested he go with polycarb instead of acrylic to replace the broken panel so it won't break again
Need help identifying this issue. We make a lot of these backlit sign faces and this hasn't happened before. Contractor customer has not returned the face he only sent me pictures so far. Could it be faulty roll of vinyl? Caused by the current heat wave we are having in California? Can the...
thanks! I found a local company that sells them. I think it snapped because my guys were using the kiss cutting tool to cut polystyrene material instead of the single edge blade tool... I re-lubed all moving metal parts but if it breaks again then I will check out if anything looks seized.
I bought the part through Airmark. I called and described the part and the sales person patched me through to a tech who immediately knew what it was. The part is a HeliCal WAC15. I installed it in about 15 mins. It's working great again.
So for the folks that kept their machine: would you recommend it? I've been looking at the 700w to replace my aging HP 360. We are a small 1 printer shop and don't have room for 2 so we definitely can't deal with too much downtime. The 360 has been a workhorse so I wanted to stick with HP but...
Small 4 person sign shop in Southern California looking to fill a full time sign production position. M-F 8:30-5:00. Ideal candidate would need to know Windows based computers, be able to run a cold press laminator, weed/apply vinyl, and use power tools. Big plus if you know CorelDraw...
We've been having this very odd problem lately with our HP Latex 360 printing raster incorrectly. It looks as if the media advance is slipping and the prints come out blurry and misaligned. Through trouble shooting we have isolated the issue to these 2 things: print file (eps, pdf, doesn't...
I have the same one. I only use it for short runs. I get tracking issues on anything over 4' length if it has to advance and rewind too much. Other than that it's a great work horse. Luckily I have a Summa FB1612 for the larger stuff. Tech support is usually very easy to get ahold of...
That error code is a line sensor communication error. If a hard reset doesn't work and you feel comfortable self repairing then see if you can re-seat the plug. If you can't get it or don't feel comfortable doing it then you will need to get a tech in there to replace or reseat it
