What's not sticking? The velcro to the wall, the velcro to the sign or the velcro to itself? If the first sample worked why not go back to that? The other question is why velcro? If it doesn't have to be velcro there are other options.

Actually a lot of the police depts around here are going back to simpler black & white schemes. I was told it was to make identifying what types of vehicles are what easier. I'm glad, I never really liked cop cars looking like funny cars anyhow.

You could try it on a sample piece....but is it really worth it? How big is the sign? I mean, we will try it on trucks because refinishing a truck door is a little more expensive that a new 4x8 ACM panel.

They are probably worried about the warranty on the material, which is probably drivet, stucco over foam panel, an absolute PITA for installations. And their brilliant idea for glue and tape would absolutely ruin the wall- way more than a few mechanical fasteners. The only safe and logical...

Sounds like you did the job well, so really no responsibility for the failure. Since you said it's a good client I would give discount on the redo. You have the design files already, the posts survived and usually doing something a second time goes quicker.

Doubt it would be worth much, the files of the existing repeat clients may have value. I would think you'd pick up some of his business just by being in the same location, unless he is successful in finding another buyer.

Yep, like has been said, a repetitive stress issue, and then a good jolt will really kick it in. I had to do some PT and then follow an easy regime of stretching/exercise to keep it from happening again, well it will happen again, but at least minimize it
