There is a profile for 3m ij180. Not sure where I downloaded it from but it works well. Also have used generic vinyl II profile for the Roland with good results. For wraps I print as jpegs using prepress. Vector eps images are printed with max impact.
Any questions pm me. I've had my Roland...
I just bought a HP FB500 and have had it in my shop for 3 weeks and love it. Coming from a lemon Gerber Ion this machine is so much better. I like being able to feed pre cut sign blanks
I have had my HP FB500 for a couple weeks now and love it. Only issue is trying to get a deep red using Onyx. I have printed out the color charts from Onyx with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
When you add freight, rip and install, you are going to be in the 90s for the FB500 and 130s for the FB700 especially when adding white and roll to roll. I have been looking at both and am leaning toward the FB500. Call GSG in Dallas.
Onyx Postershop 7.2 for sale. Includes dongle and serial number. I used this rip for a Gerber Ion which I later sold. For $1000 you can upgrade to the latest version through Onyx.
$1500 or best offer. Located in Seabrook Texas. Can ship in the US. Prefer paypal.

Print on normal white vinyl and mount to static cling. The setting for Roland takes forever to print. Try it you will do it from now on. For larger quantities sub it out to Stouse.
Static cling is a pain to print on the roland. If you use their recommended profile I think it prints unidirectional and takes forever to print. This quantity would be best subbed out to Stouse.
Whenever I do small quantity static clings I just print on regular oracal vinyl and then mount...
It could be a number of things. When is the last time you cleaned the machine? Is there fuzz on or near the heads? Have you cleaned your encoder strip? The encoder strip can create a lot of problems if it is dirty. Are you using Roland inks?
I have had quality issues with signs365 as well. Started using signs2trade and have been happy with quality and delivery. Prints on their banners are nice with heavy ink coverage. Also their pricing is much better on banners.
210 will make it too cloudy and you will have shrinking issues. We use a cast 3M 8518 gloss overlaminate for our window perf. Never had any complaints.
In your wordpress admin go to settings - media and you can change your thumbnail size. You will have to regenerate thumbnails afterwards. Easy way to regenerate them is with a plug in called - regenerate thumbnails.
I'm not sure about the black border issue as it could be a simple setting with...
I have had a highway handyman for a couple years now and use it to mount all of my prints. 4'x8' takes a couple of minutes. If I remember cost was around $2000 and well worth it.
