Hi, I am looking for a rigid board that is around 2mm thick, 4' W x 8' H sheet, translucent board.
Currently, I am printing graphics on Sihl 3747 Backlit Film and taping it to .020 PETG that has 3mm Milk Plexi behind it that goes into a 1/8" channel and then is backlit (see attached example of...
Hello, my company uses 3M 40C for almost all temporary branding installs. The graphics are generally up for ~3 days. We sometimes have issues with the vinyl taking off small areas of paint, or wood finish. What are some best practices when installing and removing vinyl?
Currently, we are doing...
Hello, I am having issues loading a roll of fabric on the HP FB750. I try to make sure there is equal distance on both sides of the roll and follow the on-screen instructions but I keep getting creases while the print goes through and the print head then hits the bumps and smears some ink. I...
Hi, I am printing a graphic with grey text that has a white background. This text in the attached screenshot is the first thing the printer starts printing for this graphic. The other screenshot is printed using a white underflood on 1/8" acrylic. I have only noticed this a couple of times, and...
Hello, see the attached image for reference. I am getting jagged off-color lines in my print. I ran a print job that was 476" long and this only happened to a couple of signs on the run. I checked the graphic and it should be a solid color.
- This only happened to red and purple color solid...
Hello, I have noticed off-color banding when printing black on vinyl banners. It looks like this only happens on the edge of the graphic of an 8' print on our 98" wide HP FB750 printer and when printing a black background.
Printer: HP FB750
Media: Frontlit Banner
Print Resolution: Indoor...
Hello, I printed some graphics on be.tex Samba FR for an SEG frame using our HP FB750 UV Printer. The graphic fits well and tested in our print shop and we didn't have any issues when putting the graphic up, but we had an outside team install the graphics at a show. I got some pictures of the...
I am looking for a material that I can print on for SEG backlit signs, but I am having issues getting a deep color when printing on my UV printer.
Printer: HP FB750
Material: Be.tex Samba FR
Print Mode: Photo Plus
RIP Software: Caldera 11.2
The graphic looks pretty washed out when I backlight...
I agree and think this happens where the holes on the print bed are. I am not sure if it happens on the same place on the belt but the spot distance between them all are the same which is why I think it has something to do with the belt.
But the areas that it happens in can be 12" x 12" or so...
I am very happy with how the print came out. Just be aware that you might need to clean your printer after you do a run of this stuff. The fibers are pretty loose on the edges and come off.
I have also printed on Fisher Textiles GF 2400. I really liked this one as well, but it doesn't really...
Hello, I am trying to print on fabric with my HP FB750. I have tried several sample rolls of various fabrics that work with a UV printer. Most of the time the graphic looks good, but sometimes, part of the graphic will have a grid-like effect with dark round dots. I have attached an image where...
I printed a graphic on a sample roll of UltraCarpet® Extra. This is the first time I am dealing with carpet. We are looking to place the carpet by an entryway, so there will be nothing to cover up the edges of the carpet unlike a trade show.
I am wondering if there is any finishing techniques...
Thank you for providing this link. I have a couple of small demo frames and it looked like it doesn't fit 3mm but maybe I didn't press in enough...? It makes sense that it is 3mm.
After doing some research I have found a couple of other companies.
Media One USA - Only company I found that sold 14mm x 2mm. This is needed for Octonorm framing system. I think most other frames use 14mm x 3mm.

Hello, I am looking for either a cardboard base or a metal base to hold up large 1/2" Foam Board graphics. We have been using SpiderFeet Stand-Up Bases but the signs can fall over if there is a gust of wind. See attached images for the cardboard and metal base. Where can I purchase these? Or do...
