  1. Help with Combine?? Effect

    First Make a compound object of the rectangles.... Select the first two vertical rectangles then hit ctrl + m, do the same the same with the second horizontal pair. Then select all (ctrl + A) then Effect> Combine> Weld.

    Hi Folks, Just upgraded to CS3 this week..... Very much worth the upgrade! I run it on an Intel Mac.. and the processing is so much faster than CS2, its ridiculous. The Startup screen is still very slow, but besides that its great!! You can dock all of the palettes, so theyre not floating...

  14. When to wet

    I dont have any major bubble problems on dry glass. Go slow and low(a low angle on the squegee) I'm not 100% all the time but nothing that the air release tool cant remedy.

    Fred The manual says 1080 watts during use. I'm not looking to keep it running during an outage. Just keep it running long enough to get to it and stop the printing manually instead of the machine coming an abrupt stop with print heads exposed.

    VersaCamm 540 users: What battery back up do you use? I have an APC and thought that it was good enough to keep my machine printing for a few seconds in the event of a brief outage....boy was I wrong! Found out the hard way,on the very end of a 12' x 4' print. Does anybody know of a back up...
  20. Versacamm is all jacked up

    If you dont use it you lose it. Heads clog if you dont use them regularly. Try to print something small every day or so... (like mark said)if you dont have "print" jobs try printing/cutting some of the jobs you would have just cut in colored vinyl. I rarely buy anything other than white media...
