This machine is not really the way to go for fabric printing. We did some tests several years ago on a 360GT and you lose around 50% of the ink during the first wash. Dye-sub is a far better choice in comparison... it should print clearer, more vibrant and will last longer.

It took us 5 years to get through the bottle that came with our S80600 and that has double the amount of heads to clean. It's hardly fair labelling it as expensive considering it lasts so long.

I'm in the same country at least... happy to assist if needed. Can call or even remotely connect and take a peek at your network config and advise how to adjust the Graphtec. We have an 8600 and 9000 working well on our network.

You won't find any for large format machines. We run a toner based label printer (OKI Pro1050) for this sort of thing. You can also get aqueous dye based label machines that will print onto these stocks.

Can you even laminate ReTac? It's textured, so I imagine you'd get wild silvering or even full bubbles attempting it. As Boudica says, not needed whatsoever.

Pausing at the end of each pass usually means data isn't hitting the printer quickly enough or you have an interpass delay set for that media type (see Epson Edge Dashboard and look for "Drying Time Per Pass" setting). Where in Oz are you located? There might be someone nearby that can have a...

Have a look in Epson Edge Dashboard and check to see if the media type has an After Heater Feed enabled: Sounds like you might be on Mode 1. We have ours off on all profiles.
