I was just ordering a 24" roll of Black reflective for $1100 and having the supplier slit it for me into 8 - 3" rolls. Slitting...

  10. Whats a fair price for this printer?

Yep, that has been considered. Re-claiming the heads vs replacing the heads would be the deal breaker. I guess a better question would be, what is an average price for a used Colorpainter in fair condition? Just sent an email that probably killed the deal anyway.

  13. Like Wrapping with a Hot Trash Bag

You can hang some 1" conduit from the shop ceiling to hang your prints with a fan to move air. This will speed up the out gassing. You can print some 12" test panels and laminate at different intervals to see how long those problem colors have to dry at their saturation levels.
  14. Harley fender help

I did a Harley about 6yr ago. The key for me was to heat and per-strech the graphic front to back BEFORE applying to the fender (backer off). It allowed for a lot of shrinking of the sides with heat. It took 4 people though... Wow, reading and seeing stuff here on 101 is making some of the...
  15. Im baaaaack!

The JV33 is one of the printers Im looking into. Im pretty handy and have worked on solvent printers in the past, so picking up a pair of older JV3 or Seiko might work too. I will keep your Epson in mind though, thanks. Im surprised on how low the price on printers have gotten, 12yr ago my...
